00:22the Department of Agriculture has promised to continue to help farmers and fishermen affected by calamities and disasters in the agricultural sector.

00:32Seventeen typhoons have passed and we have not yet mentioned El Niño and La Niña.

00:38So in 2024, our agricultural production decreased.

00:45We were affected by many typhoons and floods.

00:48Our production decreased by negative 2.2.

00:52But despite this, the Department of Agriculture was early to meet the needs of our farmers and fishermen.

01:02At the beginning of 2025, Mike Abilive, the Agriculture Assistant Secretary, Joicel Pandilio, said

01:37The President said that there will be no hungry Filipinos.

01:45we will continue to provide interventions to our farmers and fisherfolk.

01:50We are ensuring that we have sufficient supply.

01:53For a while, our staple food is rice.

01:57This is the most important.

01:59We have launched Rice for All.

02:01It is only P40 per kilo.

02:04In January 2025, they will launch Solid Rice and Nutri Rice.

02:09The price of Solid Rice varies from P35 to P36 per kilo.

02:15The quality is also good.

02:17They also continue to teach their farmers about post-harvest programs

02:22so that agricultural products will not be damaged

02:25even if they produce a lot.

02:28This also includes increasing the number of fish.

02:32The fight against African Swine Fever is also underway.

02:36The affected are 6,058 barangays.

02:40But as of now, there are only 365 barangays
