01:11He vetoes P26 billion pesos from the Department of Public Works and Highways' budget.
01:16He says he took into account urgency of need, implementation readiness, and agency absorptive
01:22Marcos also vetoes some P168 billion pesos in unprogrammed appropriations.
01:28These are allotments for government priority programs that can only proceed if the government
01:32acquires extra revenue.
01:34Apart from the two, Marcos also enumerates a list of national programs in the 2025 budget
01:40that were to be conditionally implemented.
01:42The list includes the Department of Social Welfare and Development's Ayuda sa Kapos
01:46Angkita program, or AKAP, a social aid program for Filipinos earning less than the minimum
01:52wage.
01:54A South Korean court approves an arrest warrant for President Yun Suk-kyo on Tuesday, December
01:5931.
02:00The Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials, or CIO, confirms that the Seoul
02:05Western District Court approved the warrant requested by investigators looking into Yun's
02:10brief martial law declaration.
02:13This marks the first arrest warrant ever issued for an incumbent South Korean president.
02:18The court issued the warrant based on concerns that Yun might evade questioning.
02:23There is also significant evidence suggesting he may have committed a crime.
02:27Yun fails to respond to summons for questioning since the December 3 martial law declaration.
02:32CIO says a search warrant for his residence was also approved.
02:37The arrest warrant is valid until January 6.
02:40Once executed, Yun is expected to be detained at the Seoul Detention Center.
02:46Charges of manslaughter are filed against Liam Payne's manager and employees of a Buenos
02:50Aires hotel he was staying at when he died.
02:53Payne's manager, the manager of the hotel, and its head of reception face up to five
02:58years in prison if convicted.
03:00Another hotel employee and a local waiter are accused of plying Payne with cocaine and
03:05face up to 15 years in prison.
03:07The Argentine judge, in her decision released on Friday, orders them jailed ahead of their
03:12trial.
03:13The former One Direction member fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires
03:17in October.
03:18Payne's autopsy showed, at the time of his death, he had large quantities of cocaine
03:23and alcohol in his system.
03:26Investigations point out Payne allegedly purchased cocaine at least four times from the hotel
03:30employee and waiter over a three-day period.
