00:00Some farmers have received land titles in Zamboanga del Sur.

00:05The government also handed over some farm equipment.

00:09This is Clan K. Peñalosa of PIA Zamboanga with the national news.

00:15After a few years and decades of waiting,

00:19farmers who received Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, or ARB,

00:23received their land titles from the Department of Agrarian Reform, or DAR.

00:27More than 2,000 ARBs from the province of Zamboanga del Sur are very grateful

00:32for the land titles, certificates of condemnation,

00:36mortgage releases, machinery, and farm equipment.

00:40I've been farming for 30 years, and I still haven't received a title.

00:45I'm very happy with the government's program,

00:48with the President, and with the government of Utah.

00:52I'm very thankful for President Marcos' program,

00:57because it's the first step for the farmers.

01:03President Marcos' brother, Senator I.M.R. Marcos,

01:07led the province-wide distribution with the DAR participants.

01:10We've been waiting for 52 years for land titles.

01:13It's clean, but it's dirty.

01:16They say there's no solution.

01:18But the truth is, we have the solution.

01:21Together, we will find a way.

01:23According to the Senator, this is the gift

01:25from the Administration of Marcos to the farmers of Zamboanga del Sur.

01:29This activity is a proof of the dedication of the government

01:33to support the farmers and promote agriculture

01:37in the province of Zamboanga del Sur.
