00:00Several ports in Ecuador, Chile and Peru were temporarily closed due to high waves and the one-year anniversary of the New Year's Day earthquake in Japan, reported by Joyce Salamatin in Centro ng Balita.
00:18Three people were killed due to high waves in Ecuador, Chile and Peru. According to the authorities, the waves were up to 30 feet or four meters high in coastal areas of the countries.
00:33One hundred ports were immediately closed due to bad sea conditions and bad weather in some areas.
00:40The preparation of the three countries is in full swing, especially Peru, due to the expected higher waves in the coming days.
00:51The one-year anniversary of the New Year's Day earthquake in the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture is in full swing in Japan.
