00:00Because she got drunk, 15 young people in Iloilo City got into a fight.

00:07Zhen Kilantang Sasa of GMA Regional TV has the story.

00:14Early in the morning, following the celebration of the new year,

00:17when a group of people in Iloilo City smashed rocks and bottles,

00:21they chased a few kids.

00:23Some of them even died.

00:26Not less than 15 young people were involved in the fight.

00:29A 18-year-old Alias Peter was accused of being a promoter of drugs

00:34and a 17-year-old Alias Peter was accused of not being a promoter.

00:38Others were not accused because they were able to escape.

00:51But the reason for the fight was just a trip because they were drunk.

00:56Officials of Barangay Tanza Timawa Zone 1 and Zone 2 taught

01:00where the fight took place.

01:03Although the Zone 2 officials said that two residents were involved in the fight.

01:08One resident got drunk and smashed a bottle.

01:12But here in Zone 1, they were the ones who started the fight

01:15because the police said that they were drunk.

01:19There were young people involved in the fight.

01:23We came from Esperanza.

01:25We came from Pules.

01:26We were not allowed to go there.

01:28There were police officers and guards.

01:30They brought us here.

01:32There was also a fishing port.

01:34Three people were involved in the fight in the area,

01:36although the people from other barangays were involved.

01:39They were not members of organized groups or gangs.

01:43Meanwhile, three suspects were arrested in Pananaksak

01:47by three men from Barangay San Sebastian of Santa Barbara, Iloilo yesterday

01:51on the early morning of January 1.

01:53The suspects, who are residents of the barangay,

01:55accompanied by their brothers and sisters,

01:57rushed to their house of the police.

02:00In the CCTV footage of GMA Original TV,

02:03a motorcycle rider saw a man walking on the road.

02:07They chased him until the two groups reached their house.

02:11In another CCTV footage,

02:13one of the suspects saw the motorcycle he used in Pananaksak

02:18in the box.

02:33Because of the incident, the security in the barangay was strengthened.

02:41The police is still waiting for the medical bulletin

02:44of the victims to file a complaint against the suspects.
