We take to Argyle Street to find out what people in Glasgow think of the town centre.
Transcript
00:00North Gordon, genuinely. Take Gordon, but apart from that, no.
00:03My high street or town centre, well, where I stay, there's not so much a high street.
00:07It's definitely not because, you know...
00:09Emptying the bins. If you're walking down the street and you're seeing a lot of bins that have not been emptied, that sort of stuff.
00:14The pavements could be a little bit tidier, you know, just a general spruce up or something like that, yeah.
00:21I think there are far too many, although I'm getting into one at the moment, pound shops and things like that.
00:26They're a bit degrading, although I'm not as snobbish, but all those cheap places bring a kind of an environment of, you know, down and out.
00:41We are McDonald's, we are food places, but apart from that, no, nothing else.
00:46Now this is my first time back over 30 years, right, and I've seen a big, a big transition.
00:52You could get lost now, you know. So, I mean, it's amazing. It's a good place. It's a good place.
00:58They're getting these cleaned up properly.
