00:00Yes, exactly. What Israel is claiming is that yes, there is a ceasefire, but this ceasefire comes with conditions.
00:07And those conditions are that the Lebanese army, which has now spread its forces in some areas in southern Lebanon,
00:14is meant to take care of Hezbollah installations, Hezbollah ammunition in the area.
00:19According to Israel, what happened on Thursday is that Israel on various occasions alerted the Lebanese army
00:25through the ceasefire mechanism that Hezbollah is conducting some movements with its ammunition.
00:34And Israel demanded from the Lebanese army to take care of that, to take care of the launchers, to take care of the missiles.
00:41Once Israel asked the Lebanese army to do it and did not get a response and no action was seen on behalf of the Lebanese army,
00:50then Israel acted and carried out those strikes against the Hezbollah installations, against the Hezbollah ammunitions.
00:58These were the strikes, at least three strikes reported against Hezbollah installations on Thursday.
01:06And this, of course, raises a rather big question as to the future of the ceasefire.
01:12On paper, the ceasefire is meant to go until the end of January. That is 60 days since it was declared in late November.
01:20What happens after that? Israel says that if the conditions are not met, then its forces will stay in the area.
01:26Hezbollah said that if the ceasefire is meant to last 60 days, then on day 61 any Israeli power,
01:33any Israeli force in Lebanese territory will be seen as an occupier and will be met with resistance.
01:39So this raises quite a lot of concern regarding the future of this ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
01:46It is Western powers led by the United States which are meant to make sure that the Israeli demands are met on the other side.
01:54According to Israel, for the moment this is not happening and that is why Israel is taking these actions.
02:00Thursday was quite violent on the Lebanese side of the Israel-Lebanon border.
