00:00Here we are.
00:02Moment of truth.
00:04Got a few butterflies?
00:06Just one or two.
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're looking at shows
00:10expected to release their final episode in 2025.
00:14We're leaving off The Boys since it seems more likely to end in 2026.
00:18This is the plan.
00:21I mean, sure, a few curveballs.
00:23But, uh, we got here.
00:26Number 10.
00:27The Conners.
00:28The Conners got off to the rockiest of beginnings, not due to its quality,
00:33but because of a racist tweet that promptly killed the Roseanne revival.
00:37Speaking of which, this spinoff killed off Roseanne,
00:40moving forward with the rest of the family.
00:42Are we horrible for laughing?
00:44Well, I'm tired of crying.
00:47And laughing inappropriately is what mom taught us to do.
00:50Some argued that the show wouldn't work without the Conner matriarch.
00:53Others felt The Conners could never get past its problematic origins.
00:57Every time The Conners get a win,
00:59it's just a matter of time before something horrible happens to them.
01:02Well, you might have mentioned that to me before I got on the plane with you.
01:06The Conners nevertheless became a critical and rating success, lasting seven seasons.
01:12The Conner family will bid farewell again over this six-episode final season.
01:16After more than 30 years since we met these characters,
01:19here's hoping The Conners receive an emotional goodbye
01:22that doesn't involve winning the lottery or revelations that it was all a novel Roseanne wrote.
01:27I thought you were dead.
01:29I'm sleeping.
01:32Why does everybody always think I'm dead?
01:35You looked happy, I thought maybe you moved on.
01:38Number 9.
01:39Craig of the Creek
01:40Despite its adoring fan base,
01:42Craig of the Creek became another casualty
01:45of what's been described as Warner Bros. Discovery's animation purge.
01:50Oh silly me, I forgot to mention that all the eliminated players will be banished.
01:57To the basement!
01:58The writing was on the wall after the news broke that the fifth season would be slashed in half.
02:04The second half would thankfully be salvaged as a sixth season,
02:07which kicked off in June 2024.
02:10Craig, I've never seen a battle fought so bravely.
02:13Your reward will be the handsomest feast.
02:16Fit for a morning person.
02:18Although the final four episodes are slated to air on Cartoon Network in 2025,
02:23Hulu briefly uploaded the entire season on August 1st, 2024.
02:27This was apparently a mistake, as those episodes were swiftly removed from the service.
02:32Whether or not you snuck a peek,
02:34Craig of the Creek will be remembered as one of the best modern Cartoon Network shows
02:38as we venture into an uncertain tomorrow.
02:41Well, I guess it's time to head home.
02:43Yep, see you tomorrow?
02:45Yeah.
02:48Craig?
02:50I want to stay just a little bit longer.
02:53Number 8.
02:549-1-1 Lone Star
02:55In May 2023, Fox opted not to renew 9-1-1,
03:00although the long-running procedural drama found a new home at ABC.
03:04The spin-off, 9-1-1 Lone Star, won't follow its predecessor to a new network.
03:09What the hell? Why would they do that?
03:11Because it costs $150,000 and they say they don't have the money.
03:14Budget issues and contract disputes ultimately sealed the show's fate,
03:18but Fox would throw a lifeline with a final season order.
03:21The fifth season debuted in September 2024,
03:24with the final episode set to air in February 2025.
03:29Moment of truth.
03:33Well, nothing makes for good TV like a little bit of drama, am I right, folks?
03:37Rob Lowe thinks the cancellation signifies, quote,
03:40the end of an era for network TV, feeling shows like this just don't get made anymore.
03:45While another 9-1-1 spin-off is reportedly being developed at ABC,
03:49Owen Strand and the rest of Station 126 will be missed as the fire goes out.
03:55Is all that about embracing surrender?
03:58Surrender's not in my vocabulary either.
04:00Number 7.
04:01You
04:02Like a few other shows on our list,
04:04this psychological thriller was initially expected to end in 2024.
04:08Given the effects of the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes,
04:13a few productions inevitably got pushed back.
04:15I suppose I could go back.
04:17I don't want to, but sometimes things just don't work out with the person the way you dream, you know?
04:22If you're clever enough to get yourself free,
04:24I'll see you back in London and we can revisit these.
04:26The good news is that shooting wrapped in August 2024,
04:29meaning the fifth and final season of You is just around the bend.
04:33Penn Badgley is naturally back as Joe Goldberg,
04:36although this will be the first season without co-creator Sarah Gamble as a showrunner.
04:41The important part is that I've been given a chance to redeem myself
04:44and make up for what I've done.
04:45And I can only imagine how that must sound.
04:50Assuming her duties are longtime writers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lowe,
04:55the season is also getting new blood with Madeline Brewer as a playwright who catches Joe's eye,
05:00Griffin Matthews as Joe's brother-in-law,
05:03and Anna Camp in a dual role as twin sisters.
05:06I know they killed her.
05:08Got rid of her body in whatever way they do.
05:12I'm sorry.
05:16They stole my sister.
05:17Number 6.
05:18Big Mouth
05:19Wait, what?
05:20This is the end of the season?
05:22Yeah.
05:22No, no, no, no!
05:24Don't go to credits!
05:25By the end of its eighth season,
05:27Big Mouth will set a record for Netflix's longest-running scripted series.
05:32Being an animated series,
05:33Netflix could have turned Big Mouth into their Simpsons with no end in sight.
05:38Since the show is about growing up, though,
05:40it seems only fitting that Nick, Andrew,
05:42and the rest of the class learn another difficult lesson.
05:46Nothing lasts forever,
05:47especially when transitioning from middle school to high school.
05:50It's gonna be torturous, thrilling, and cruel.
05:56We're getting yanked out of our comfort zone.
05:58We graduated middle school.
06:00The final season will see the characters navigate the next chapter in adolescence.
06:05While still going through changes,
06:07hilariously awkward moments are sure to remain a constant.
06:10It's bound to be a season of self-discovery,
06:12but will we finally find out who the ponytail killer is?
06:16Our money is on the bad mitten.
06:18Oh, you don't like spoilers?
06:20Well, let me explain this to you.
06:22I'm not a good mitten.
06:24I'm a bad mitten.
06:27Number 5.
06:28Squid Game
06:29This South Korean series exploded into a cultural phenomenon in 2021,
06:34still holding the record for Netflix's most-watched original television season.
06:38The long-awaited second season would be completed in time for the tail end of 2024.
06:48We won't have to wait as long for season 3,
06:51which is aiming for a 2025 premiere date.
06:54The downside is that this will also be the final season.
07:03As one of their most lucrative properties,
07:05Netflix is keeping the brand alive through spinoffs like Squid Game The Challenge
07:10and a David Fincher-produced English adaptation currently in the works.
07:14Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is content with ending this narrative after three seasons, however.
07:20Hwang teases, quote,
07:21yet another thrill ride that sees Ji-hoon and frontman clash for one last game.
07:36Number 4.
07:37Andor
07:38Came here to kill me, didn't you?
07:42It'll make it easy.
07:43Another production delayed because of the Hollywood strikes,
07:46Andor season 2 finished shooting in February 2024.
07:50By the time it premieres in April 2025, nearly three years will have passed,
07:55and Rogue One will be almost a decade old.
07:58With Tony Gilroy again helming the ship, we're confident it'll be worth the wait.
08:04According to Gilroy, this final season is comprised of 12 episodes.
08:08Every three will cover another year,
08:11exploring major turning points in the Rebel Alliance's formation.
08:14Perhaps it's too late.
08:19But I'll tell you this.
08:24If I could do it again, I'd wake up early and be fighting.
08:30Along with Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, expect a few other familiar faces,
08:35including Ben Mendelsohn as Orson Krennic and Alan Tudyk as K-2SO.
08:41Even if we know where Andor's story ends,
08:43his will go down as one of the best in Star Wars history.
08:47You gonna take on a full garrison?
08:50I'll take care of Marva.
08:52You take care of yourself.
08:54It's too late for that.
08:55Number 3.
08:56Cobra Kai
08:58Netflix released the first two-thirds of Cobra Kai's sixth and final season throughout 2024.
09:04While the season got off to a fairly laid-back start,
09:07it kept building momentum, leaving us on a killer cliffhanger.
09:11We should've snuck onto that plane in someone's luggage.
09:13Totally.
09:14I mean, we got mad brawl experience.
09:16What the hell does this keep happening?
09:18It's gonna be okay, Mom.
09:20I think.
09:20Although we can't imagine anything topping that last fight,
09:23the fallout will surely raise the dramatic stakes to unprecedented levels.
09:28The final five episodes, which drop in February 2025, have much to unpack.
09:33Between the outcome of the Sakai Taikai and the shadow of doubt surrounding Mr. Miyagi's legacy,
09:39the fate of karate looks grim.
09:42Miyagi never tell you everything, Daniel-san.
09:45Because you never strong enough to accept truth.
09:48With Karate Kid Legends hitting theaters in May 2025,
09:52it's safe to say Daniel LaRusso's story is far from over.
09:56For many of these fan-favorite characters, though, this will be the last round.
10:00Who knows what comes after that?
10:01Wheaties, boxes, chop sukiyaki flicks, CZ Top videos.
10:05Sky's the limit.
10:06Number 2.
10:06The Handmaid's Tale
10:08is changing.
10:10Now Canada's not Gilead.
10:15America wasn't Gilead until it was.
10:18When The Handmaid's Tale premiered in 2017,
10:21it was hard not to draw parallels to real-world political tensions
10:25and an overarching fear that society might be going backward.
10:29About eight years later, we're still having the same conversations.
10:33I know this must feel very strange.
10:37But ordinary is just what you're used to.
10:41This may not seem ordinary to you right now,
10:46but after a time it will.
10:50This will become ordinary.
10:52The final season of the Emmy-winning dystopian Hulu series
10:56couldn't be coming at a more relevant time.
10:58Even after the show finishes its run in 2025,
11:01we'll still likely be discussing The Handmaid's Tale in the years to come.
11:05Not just as an example of humanity's worst-case scenario,
11:08but as a reminder that as long as there are people like June Osborn
11:12fighting for freedom,
11:13independence can never be fully extinguished.
11:16However her story concludes,
11:18rest assured that June will give her oppressors hell.
11:21We are handmaids.
11:29Nolite de bestardes carvandorum, bitches.

11:48Number one, Stranger Things.
11:50Similar to the Harry Potter movies,
11:52we've watched the young cast of Stranger Things grow up over several years.
11:57One day you're a kid playing Dungeons and Dragons in a basement.
12:00The next you're 20-something saving the world yet again.
12:03He's not going to stop, ever.
12:07Not until he's taken everything and everyone.
12:13We have to kill him.
12:16And we will.
12:17While every season has upped the ante,
12:19the final eight episodes are poised to be the most ambitious ever,
12:22with Maya Hawke describing them as quote,
12:25basically eight movies.
12:27The scale of these episodes,
12:29coupled with the effects of labor disputes,
12:31has resulted in an especially long wait.
12:34I sought your power.
12:41All this time we've been building it for you.
12:48The Duffer brothers have held us over with the reveals of the episode titles
12:51and exciting casting announcements like Linda Hamilton.
12:56When the final season at long last drops in 2025,
12:59we're prepared to party like it's 1987.
13:02It's the season the fans have been waiting for.
13:07And we hope you're as excited as we are to get to tell the final chapter in this story.
13:12What show will you missed the most after next year?
13:15Let us know in the comments.
13:16Feels very weird.
13:22We're just kind of savoring every single moment.
