00:00It is a great honor to be given the title, especially if our talent and dedication is recognized in our respective fields.

00:07And one of the award-giving bodies that gave recognition to outstanding individuals is the Asia's Golden Legacy Awards,

00:14where I was one of the winners.

00:20And this morning, we will be joined by Doca Michael Kevin Estacio,

00:25the president of Asia's Golden Legacy Awards, to talk about these goals.

00:31Hi, good morning. Good morning also to our viewers.

00:35And Doc Biggs, can you tell us what is the purpose of Asia's Golden Legacy Awards?

00:43You know, Sir Donnie, the purpose of Asia's Golden Legacy Awards is to give honor to people who became an example for their industry.

00:55And also, for every Filipino to have a place in the whole world.

01:00That's why Asia's Golden Legacy Awards were made to better recognize the excellence and talent of every Filipino.

01:06Alright. How do the awardees choose, what are the criteria they use to recognize their achievements?

01:15Actually, we have a research team and department for that.

01:19And our awardees are chosen based on their category of industry.

01:25So, what is their industry, if they are an artist, if they are a model, or if they are a businessman.

01:32It's a big help for them to choose their category to give a chance.

01:37Yes, best in their category.

01:40Well, this awarding event was held in December.

01:45But what were the highlights of this event, sir?

01:48The first highlight of this event is to give honor to the excellence and talent of every Filipino in the world.

01:55And that's a good thing because we have 162 awardees.

01:58And there are also awardees from other countries who became performers like Alvier Antoine and Janice Phuong of Vietnam.

02:09And also, the artists we know like Marian Rivera, Ding Dong Dantes, Vice Ganda, and Coco Martinez were the highlights.

02:17Of course, we also have PTV Lamala, Ding Dong Dantes.

02:21But for sure, at that event, you got the chance to encounter other awardees.

02:28What were the reactions of our awardees?

02:32Actually, they were happy because for the first time, especially for other awardees, it's really their first time.

02:39And they really went for the International Award.

02:42And we are featured in over 80 international medias.

02:47And the performance was really good.

02:50And there were a lot of performers like Hagibis, The Flippers, Carmela Betonio, and Edwin Cando.

02:58It really felt like a musical concert.

03:01Well, I've heard that this event is also focused on businessmen to inspire other Filipinos who want to venture into business.

03:11Yes. Actually, Sir Donnie, that's where I started.

03:14I started with an award.

03:18That's why I was inspired to be an example for our co-awardees.

03:24How I started that day until I became a multi-awarded CEO.

03:29Now, I'm also giving awards.

03:31I'm also one of the award-giving bodies of the Philippines.

03:35Of course, aside from OG, our very own, what are the other categories here?

03:41Because our network also, PTV Network, also had an award.

03:47What are the other categories aside from this?

03:50Our categories, first of all, are those that are part of education, politics, business, artistry, and also media.

04:00That's why it's an honor for us to feature PTV4 and to give an award.
