00:00After several days of break, Filipinos have started their trips back to their lives before this brief respite.

00:06Many of these travelers chose to fly to their respective destinations, resulting in a very busy Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

00:18It was 2019 when overseas Filipino worker Merla came back to her hometown in Cebu.

00:23She has lived in London with her family for over 50 years.

00:27And this December 29, she returned home to welcome the new year with her relatives.

00:32In addition to this, she also visited the grave of her sibling, who she didn't even see before losing.

00:46She was also very happy on Naia's makeover that kicked off since it went under new management.

00:58From Aklana, Berhinia flew to Manila with her son Toninho.

01:03She is going to dress it up at Tayuman in Manila for the upcoming Ati-Atihan Festival.

01:37And now that the holiday season is over, passengers mostly from the provinces are still crowding the arrival area of Terminal 3.

01:45According to the data of New Naia Infra Corporation,

01:48over 163,000 incoming and departing passengers have been recorded yesterday at the airport.

01:55With this number, most came from Terminal 3 with over 80,000 passengers,

02:00followed by Terminal 2 with over 40,000 passengers,

02:04and more than 30,000 passengers from Terminal 1.

02:08Management continues to note the total number of foot traffic at the airport today.

02:12They are also adding seats to all Naia terminals,

02:15and some parts of the airport are also under renovation to eventually improve the quality service for all passengers.
