The North East has experienced severe winter weather over the passed couple of days, causing travel delays and cancellations across the region. We spoke with people who were affected by the snowy conditions.

01:20I was on the train last night to see Les Miserables and we got to the day before we were supposed to travel and realised we needed to travel a day early.
01:32So we've spent two nights in Newcastle instead of one, travelled a day early, spent more money but we got to the show and it was fantastic and so we're delighted.
01:42Now we're heading back down to Lincolnshire and it's very flooded back in Lincolnshire so we've got quite a journey ahead of us.
01:50Well I went to the punt of my knowledge just doing there and the snow was actually alright so I enjoyed the snow, I was making snowballs a lot so I enjoyed that aye.
