00:00Hello, good morning. What a cold morning it's been with plenty of frost and ice in places
00:05and even still some snow lingering around, particularly around coastal areas. Still multiple
00:10snow and ice warnings issued from the Met Office for this morning, so do take care if
00:14you are out and about. Plenty of snow showers feeding into exposed coasts, particularly
00:19around coasts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, a few feeding into Northern England and northern
00:22parts of Wales too. There is still going to be plenty of autumnal sunshine around, though
00:27it is still going to be remaining cold. Highs of around 5 to 7 Celsius, but in Scotland
00:32highs not really pushing past 2 to 3 Celsius and in brisk northerly winds it could still
00:37feel even chillier so. Now as we head into the evening we will begin to start to see
00:43a bit of a change, a storm but moves its way in from the Atlantic bringing strong winds,
00:48heavy outbreaks of rain for western areas. To the northeast of this though we're still
00:52expecting clear skies overnight so once again a sharp frost and some icy stretches, but
00:57to the west that's where the temperatures aren't going to drop quite as low under the
01:01cloud and those outbreaks of rain. So heading into Saturday, a very unsettled day. Outbreaks
01:08of rain spreading their way north eastwards across the country, heavy at times and falling
01:12as snow across northern parts of England and parts of Scotland where we do have an amber
01:16snow and ice warning issued. Plenty of strong winds across northern parts of the country
01:21too and heavy outbreaks of rain almost across most of the country by the time we reach this
01:26afternoon. So a very unsettled day and don't forget to stay updated on our social media
01:31channels and on our website for any updates to the warnings. Otherwise that's it from
01:36me, stay safe, bye bye.
