The Jewish community has been shaken by another antisemitic graffiti attack in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. An offensive slogan was spray painted onto a car overnight. The Prime minister has condemned those responsible, calling antisemitism a “scourge”.

01:05The graffiti attack comes after two separate incidents where anti-Israel slogans were spray
01:10painted and cars torched in the nearby suburb of Wallara.
01:14Around the same time, a Western Sydney suburb was targeted with Islamophobic graffiti.
01:19The Prime Minister was among those condemning today's incident.
01:24Anti-Semitism is a scourge, and any event such as this, targeting people because of
01:29who they are, is not the Australian values that I hold dear, and the Australian values
01:35that are held dear by, overwhelmingly, Australians.
01:39This is really shocking that people with hate in their hearts are infringing on our communities
01:44and spreading hate and division.
01:47Residents say this is a quiet street that is home to a handful of Jewish families, but
01:52they're bewildered as to why it would be targeted.
01:55Police are asking anyone with information to phone Crimestoppers.
01:59The car's owner has a message for those responsible.
