00:09Police officers were notified of the Nazi symbols that were spray-painted on the synagogue
00:13fence around 6.30 this morning.
00:16This anti-Semitic graffiti comes after the incident yesterday, where Nazi symbols covered
00:23the exterior of a synagogue in Alawa, a suburb in Sydney.
00:28There has also been a house in Queen's Park that's been graffitied with a similar message.
00:33Now CCTV footage has been released of yesterday's incident, showing two masked individuals and
00:40police have urged anyone with information about the identity of those individuals to
00:44come forward.
00:45We also heard from Premier Chris Minns, who said he condemns these incidents and he's
00:53also called for the tightening of hate crime laws.
00:56Now we've spoken to members of the community here, both residents as well as non-residents.
01:02We've spoken to Jewish members of the community as well as non-Jewish, who have all described
01:07this incident as appalling.
01:09Some have even said that they don't believe this represents the broader community mindset,
01:15but they're disgusted in this behaviour nonetheless.
01:17Basically it would be really nice if people left other people alone.
01:21And for a place of worship, particularly to be attacked in this way, is just not on.
01:26Given today is the day of the Sabbath, the Vice President of the synagogue has told us
