00:00Authorities are not only monitoring the translation of Jesus Nazareno,

00:05because even the possible medical emergencies are being prepared.

00:15Philippine National Police, PNP Paramatiyaka will carry out a strict security

00:20to save the millions of devotees who will participate in the translation of 2025 Bukas according to DILG.

00:28More than 12,000 police will be deployed to monitor the translation of Jesus Nazareno.

00:35According to DILG, more than 2,000 will be deployed from the Manila Police District or MPD.

00:42More than 1,500 police contingents will be deployed from the Northern and Southern Police District,

00:48QCPD, PRO-3, and PRO-4A.

00:51Aside from this, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion, NCRPO, and Eastern Police District will also be deployed.

00:59As of now, we are not monitoring any serious threats.

01:04Of course, our intelligence operatives are civilians and are involved with the participants of the translation.

01:13They will monitor the translation so that they can report it to the police who are deployed.

01:22The PNP said that they will coordinate with the security plan of the City of Manila,

01:27various government agencies, stakeholders, while the PNP Highway Patrol Group,

01:33the traffic flow officers, the PNP Intelligence Group, and the Anti-Cybercrime Group

01:39are involved with the possible physical and digital threats.

01:43The estimate for last year is around 6.5 million.

01:47The same numbers are expected, if not more.

01:53That is one of the reasons why our 12,168 is fluid.

02:00It can be added depending on the participants of the translation.

02:07Aside from the projected deployment, we also have reserve forces that are readily deployable

02:15if there is a need to increase our deployment.

02:18More than 100 firefighters and a team of anti-chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats will be deployed by the BFP.

02:28Meanwhile, as part of the preparation for the year of the translation of Jesus Nazareno,

02:33the Department of Health declared a code white alert from January 6 until JES.

02:37According to the DOH, medical teams and health stations will be deployed

02:42in the main areas of the route of the translation,

02:45including the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, Ayala Bridge, Picasal, and Quinta Marquette.

02:51More than 200 DOH personnel will also be deployed from the Health Emergency Response Team of 20 hospitals in Metro Manila,

03:00including Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, Tondo Medical Center,

03:04Dr. Jose Favella Memorial Hospital, and East Avenue Medical Center.

03:10The Philippine Red Cross is also positioned for the upcoming processions

03:14as part of the preparation for the translation this year.

03:17In a statement by Mike Abilive, the PRC chairperson, Richard Gordon, said that more than 1,000 volunteers are spread out in the places where the processions will take place.

03:26They also have ambulances and their field hospitals and first aid stations are also set up that are fully equipped.

03:36The Red Cross personnel will not leave until the entire Jesus Nazareno route reaches the Chapel Church.

03:45My advice is, if you have an illness, don't go there.

03:48But if you have an illness, like diabetes,

03:51put a little paper in your body, in your pocket,

03:55with your name on it, and say,

03:58I am diabetic, so we know immediately what we will address.

04:02We know what your illness is, so we won't make a mistake in giving the first aid.
