00:00It's lovely to see you both. You both look stunning. No, you actually do. Can we just
00:05take a moment for the looks, the fit, the tan?
00:08We've got the sequins, the glitter.
00:10I've got lots of glitter.
00:11Yeah, we've got the height as well. We're both quite tall.
00:14Very dancer-esque.
00:15Yeah.
00:16Of this team.
00:17He said it, not me.
00:18Hence why people can't see but I'm standing on a pedestal so I can reach your height.
00:22You're standing on nice and you're very comfortable. I was scared just even standing on that side.
00:26How are you feeling? Are you getting more comfortable with it?
00:29I feel good. I'm very happy that there's a white carpet underneath me otherwise me
00:34in these heels on ice would not be a good ending, I'll tell you that. But yeah, do you
00:39know what? I'm definitely starting to feel more at home on the ice. It's been a long
00:44journey but just the maddest progression because at the beginning I could not ice skate. I
00:49couldn't. I could get round and I could get by but all this inside, outside edges, all
00:55this jargon. I was like, what? Like seriously and it took me a while for it to click and
01:00everyone kept saying, oh it's going to click and I'm like, when? Feeling really frustrated
01:04but honestly I feel like so much more at ease. I've obviously got such a supportive partner.
01:09Brendan, you're so patient.
01:11Honestly, I love coming into work and we just have a blast. We laugh a lot but we also just
01:18work hard.
01:19Get to work.
01:20It's fun.
01:21We're at the beginning but you see that nose.
01:23Do you know what? The relationship is so important and we have got the same banter
01:28and we love to chat. As much as we're here to ice skate, every so often we'll be talking
01:33about food or something like that.
01:35Family or whatever it is. We can relate on a lot of different things which makes training
01:40so much more fun and easy too.
01:42I think for me the scariest thing is imagining being on the ice and then having the fingers
01:46with the blades. That's always my thing.
01:48She literally said this this morning.
01:49Don't jinx it because this happened. I sort of flinched because Brendan was talking me
01:54through a new trick that we were learning today and he was like, I sort of saw my mind
02:00and the wheels turning and he was like, what's happened?
02:02I was like, no, no, no, it's fine. He was like, no, no, no, tell me. Because we're very
02:05transparent with each other, communication is very good and I was like, I just had this
02:10fear that I was going to lose my little finger.
02:12And now you've said it, that's not a sign.
02:14And I was like, don't worry about it, it happens to all of us.
02:17No, I mean like when you're in an ice rink and it's full of people, that's my worry.
02:21It's just you two and Brendan's not going to do that. He knows what he's doing.
02:24No.
02:25He's a professional. Is that the scariest part? Has that been the scariest part for you?
02:28I think for me, I've had this big fear in front of me that I've had to overcome and
02:34still working on it because it is a confidence thing. Yes, there's the technicality and the
02:40skill to it, but it's like just learning something new as an adult, I've just felt
02:46like not as confident in like other areas of my life. So definitely we've been working
02:52on that as well, just like going for it and trying it. And actually I said to you today,
02:56I was like, at the beginning of our training session today, I was really nervous. I mean,
03:01I need to like snap out of that. I've got the live on Sunday. And then as we got into
03:06it, and at the end of the session, I was like, actually, I managed to do everything
03:11and I'm good. So I need to like work on that confidence shift.
03:15You're a mum. Mums can do anything in my opinion. Do you know what I mean? If you can be a mum,
03:19you can do anything. It's nice to see you back on the telly as well. Is it nice to be
03:22back in the glam life?
03:23Oh my goodness, yes. Do you know what? I can't imagine my life without cameras. And like
03:29I made that huge decision to stop my reality show at the end of last year. And like every
03:36time I talk about it, it makes me emotional because it was such a huge chapter of my life.
03:40But this is just like so fun and like so good for timing to like pause that, finish that
03:47and then walk into like this. Such an insane experience.
03:50Is that the most nerve wracking thing, the idea of the kids watching?
03:54I'm excited. Do you know what? Sunday, she's going to come on Sunday and she's so looking
04:00forward to it. This is the first show that she can actually enjoy because all the other
04:03ones, she's either been too young. She's never quite watched a reality show, although she
04:08did watch like a sequel of Tantrums of her on YouTube, but she finds it hysterical. But
04:15yeah, she's really, really looking forward to it. It's a family show.
04:19It's a family show.
04:20So it's going to be a full family affair for my family.
04:21Listen, have faith in yourself. You're going to do better than what you think, but he's
04:24got you. Look at his shirt.
04:26I know. Come on.
04:28I mean, look at this thing.
