00:34I would like to take this opportunity once again to congratulate ICAR on this glorious 50 years.
00:42You all deserve this round of applause. It is not for us, it is not for the speech that we give, but it is for the work that you have done.
00:51But my only suggestion to ICAR and to all the officials, especially the director and the secretary who are present here today,
01:00is that while we celebrate the last 50 years, I think it is important to lay the foundation for the next 50 years to come.
01:09It is important for us to be able to vision and to be able to put our thought across as to what we would like to see,
01:17the challenges we may face in the next 5 years, 10 years, 15 years.
01:20The kind of change we would like to see amongst our farmers in the next 5, 10, 15, 20 years and 50 years.
01:26And what is it that we need to do now to be able to lay the foundation to achieve those goals or to be able to overcome those challenges.
01:34And I think that is the challenge and responsibility that each one of you have.
01:38It is not about the day-to-day duty that you do. It is not about the 10 o'clock to 5 o'clock office hours that you give.
01:45But it is about the difference that you will make in the lives of the farmers.
01:49The difference you will make in the agriculture sector and the difference that you will make in the growth story of our nation.
01:55And that is the vision and commitment with which I would want ICAR and every single person present out here to move forward with.
02:04So with these few words, once again, I congratulate ICAR and wish all of you the very best for the future.
