00:00We yarded something just close on 4,000 cattle in total yarding of all mixed breed cattle
00:05including Eurocross, Herefords and Charolais. It was both geese and heifers as well so it was
00:11started off with the feeder job it was about the same as has been right throughout the week.
00:16Most of the feeder cattle heavy feeder cattle were trading at about $4.10 up to about $4.20
00:23for plenty of weight sort of $3.80 to sort of 500 odd kilos and you run down back onto your
00:29weaners your true weaners your Hereford calves a very good run at the start of Hereford calves
00:32I think they held up to around about that $4 a kilo for $3 to $3.60 or $3.70 kilo cattle.
00:38I think the quality did in fairness sort of drop off with the Hereford cattle and as a result the
00:43sort of price came back and that was trading under under $4 there at the end of the Hereford run.
00:48Magnificent panel a lot of Black Baldy cattle here today and they they all went from sort of
00:54the steers they went from $4.20 up to sort of $4.50 or $4.60 a kilo for any sort of weight range
01:00the lighter they were obviously the more money they'd make but that was a particularly good sale
01:04for those and also the Euro cattle there's very good running Euro cattle here today
01:08and they were having plenty of weight in them and we're around about that $4 for the top end of them
01:13or even a bit better $4.10 or $4.20 and not much under sort of $3.70 or $3.80 for those sort of cattle
01:18steers. Run under the Heifers I thought the Heifers job might have just been a little bit
01:23off the top there what has been during the week your Heavy Heifers were about that $3.30 to $3.50
01:30I suppose a kilo maybe $3.60 in places then you got onto your lighter sort of Heifers and they
01:35were sort of around that $3 up to about $3.20 or $3.30 all day you know for any different
01:41decent sort of well-bred sort of cattle and yeah it held on pretty well but had but it was a bit
01:48dearer than that early in the week I would have thought that the Angus and
01:51even yesterday but all in all a very good sale a lot most of the cattle once again went north
01:56yeah I'd say 90% of it would have gone north of Barnawatha and all going in the northern
02:03New South Wales and southern Queensland so we're very happy with the week and I
02:08think all our vendors are and yeah let's hope that it continues on from there.
