A freelance photographer, who went viral for allegedly assaulting two fashion designers working for cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, pleaded not guilty in the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's Court on Friday (Jan 10).

01:04sentence of up to 10 years, a fine, whipping or any two of these penalties upon conviction.
01:11Deputy Public Prosecutor Noorul Husna Amran proposed bail of 8,000 ringgit with one surety
01:18for each charge.
01:20Muhammad Imran's lawyer Datuk Suraj Singh appealed for a nominal bail amount, citing
01:25the accused's uncertain income.
01:28He said his client cooperated when arrested and did not try to escape, so there is no
01:32reason for him to avoid attending the trial.
01:35Magistrate Farah Azura allowed bail at 3,000 ringgit for each charge and ordered the accused
01:42not to disturb the two victims.
01:44The court set February 28 for the case to be mentioned.
01:48It was reported that the issue stemmed from an unpaid debt.
