00:00Hi I'm Theo and this is People on the Street. Today I'm out in Manchester asking people
00:03about supermarket owned brands. And that's because a lot of supermarkets have started
00:07doing their own brand version of popular products. This can often be cheaper than the real thing
00:12and sometimes you can't really tell much difference between the quality at all. So we were asking
00:16if people use supermarket owned brands at all and if they can tell the difference.
00:20Depends, some things go off to your favour, like some of the little value stuff is crazy.
00:25Meat. Do you know like they have like in Sainsbury's it's like that weird like Stamford, it's like
00:31red and yellow.
00:32Toilet roll. Toilet roll, I don't know why. Toilet roll is super important. What else?
00:41Things like Perrines. I just won't skip on Perrines.
00:44I was going to say with me like sometimes I don't mind the Lidl's and Aldi's and stuff
00:48but I feel like at times I really like Marks and Spencer's because of the quality of food.
00:52Because I look at it where I don't mind spending like an extra pound because it's like it lasts longer and if you think and the quality of food as well.
