Gurdaspur: One of the accused arrested on charges of bombing police posts under Batala police on December 12 has lost his leg. In fact, after the police arrested the accused of the blasts, when they were taking the weapons for recovery, the accused tried to attack the police and opened fire. During the firing, two accused were injured and one was shot in the leg, after which the injured accused was first admitted to the government hospital in Batala but later he was admitted to the PGI hospital in Chandigarh where the leg of one of the accused youth had to be amputated.
