A sub inspector and a constable were beaten up inside the police station in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district on Wednesday evening by some people who barged inside.
Four policemen including a Sub-inspector got injured in the altercation.
They locals barged in the police station and attacked police jawans after they took a local in custody in drunk driving case. Four people have been taken into custody in the matter. The DSP immediately rushed to the police station to take stock of the situation
