00:00Hi, my name is Ola Doudin. I'm co-founder and CEO of BitOasis. BitOasis, we're the first
00:19and today the largest crypto platform based here in the UAE. We serve the wider Middle
00:25East market, specifically focused on the GCC region. We serve both retail and corporate
00:32slash institutional clients. So we're the go-to platform for anyone that wants to invest,
00:39trade, hold crypto and enter the Web3 world, you know, here in the Middle East market.
00:46So we offer the easiest and the safest and regulated way for people to buy, sell, trade
00:51crypto. We've got our licenses from Gwara. We also have licenses and regulated operations
00:58out of Bahrain under the Central Bank of Bahrain. So with that, we cover the wider Gulf region
01:06and be able to serve our customers across different segments in the market. Most notably
01:12actually this year, we got acquired by CoinDCX. So it's the most valued and largest platform
01:19out of India. So we've got great synergies with the acquired and now BitOasis is part of the
01:25wider DCX group. So that was a big achievement for us. It's the first M&A crypto deal actually
01:31out of the region. For us, obviously, we were the first in this space. We really started the
01:37adoption of crypto and built that infrastructure and I would say safe foundation for people to
01:44start their crypto journeys. And that's still one of our missions and what we continue to execute
01:52on day in and day out and Dubai specifically becoming more of a global crypto hub.
01:58But across the region, I think we want to see more momentum across regulation kind of
02:04moving to similar steps, like how the UAE is positioning itself in the Web3 space. So the
02:12acquisition for me as a founder was part of that journey in terms of executing our mission from
02:18day one and being able to do even more in the region as the market is really expanding.
02:25BitOasis as a brand remains a strong local regional brand. It really represents our
02:31ethos, our mission in making sure that crypto is available for individuals, for corporates,
02:38for our community and our ecosystem at large. So when we started, it was very clear for us,
02:45the place to be is Dubai. If you want to innovate, if you want to be at the forefront of regulation,
02:51I would say also attract the right talent, attracting the right capital. So for us,
02:57it was the place to be. If you're a founder, you believe in your idea, you believe that
03:05the space that you're building your company in, be it kind of focused on tech or a market
03:11segment or whatever it may be, is the future and where growth would be, then obviously by all means
03:17go for it, right? The right talent is going to come, the right capital is there to invest and you
03:23focus on making sure you can execute, you can grow and really double down on what you believe in,
03:28double down on yourself and double down on the idea that you're going after or you're building
03:33your businesses after. I think specifically when it comes to women founders, definitely believe in
03:39yourself, advocate for yourself, take risks, be fearless in the sense how you're executing on
03:46your vision, how you're advocating for it. The right people will come along, really believe in
03:50yourself and go that distance and being able to go full force and execute on what you want to see
03:59come alive is very, very, very important. Believe in yourself, believe in your vision,
04:04advocate for yourself and set an example for, I think, other female founders or women founders
04:10that want to follow your footsteps.
