Five family members who were killed in a road crash involving two vehicles at Kilometre 65 of Jalan Pekan-Nenasi-Rompin, near Kampung Sembayan in Pekan, Pahang on Saturday (Jan 11), were buried together in one grave at the Nenasi Pantai Muslim Cemetery at noon on Sunday.

00:17The remains of 53-year-old Hamza Zahri, his wife, 38-year-old Rahima Awang Muda and their
00:22children, 10-year-old Ainul Mardia Hamza, 8-year-old Mohamed Lukman Nur Hakim and 4-year-old
00:28Mohamed Lutfi, were buried together in one grave.
00:33Funeral rites were conducted at Perkan Hospital before the remains were brought to Nenasi
00:38Mosque, where over 500 family members, relatives and friends gathered to perform the funeral
00:45prayers.
00:46The fatal crash occurred around 7pm on Saturday, when a Proton Wera aerobac traveling from
00:52Rompin to Nenasi collided head-on with a Nissan Grand Livina MPV travelling in the
00:58opposite direction.
01:00All five occupants of the Proton Wera aerobac died at the scene, while two individuals in
01:05the Nissan Grand Livina sustained injuries.
01:09The injured were identified as the driver of the MPV, 51-year-old Indra Makota Fire and
01:14Rescue Station Officer Wahai Dakaria and his wife, 43-year-old Salesha Abdul Latif, a teacher
01:21at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Karang, Kuantan.
