00:00PhilHealth promised in a hearing of the Committee on Health that there will be a sufficient fund this year

00:05along with the addition of PhilHealth's benefit packages for their members.

00:11In the said hearing of the Camera with the Budget Department,

00:15it was announced that PhilHealth still has more than P400 billion in funds

00:20for their plans to add benefits this 2025,

00:24such as benefit packages for Physical Medication and Rehabilitation Services,

00:30assistive mobility devices such as wheelchairs,

00:35prescription glasses for children aged 0 to 15 years old,

00:39and others, as well as their enhancement benefit packages for prostate, cervical, lung, liver, and ovarian cancer.

00:49PhilHealth is also studying the addition of people to all of its departments

00:54to speed up the increase in the number of beneficiaries assisted by the agency.

01:00Meanwhile, the Camera also promised, along with the Ministry of Health,

01:04its continued coordination for the proposed laws

01:08that will provide the appropriate benefits to PhilHealth members.

01:14I want to ask specifically, categorically.

01:18I will write to the DOH that we have needs, Mr. Chair,

01:23because of our plans to file a house bill for the people.
