01:00In the hearing of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability,
01:04PhilHealth President and Chief Executive Officer Emanuel Ledesma, Jr.
01:09agreed that they have enough funds so they will continue their service.
01:13As of October 2024, PhilHealth holds a surplus of 150 billion pesos
01:22and a total reserve of 280 billion pesos,
01:27complemented by an investment fund nearing 490 billion as of November 2024.
01:37These figures clearly demonstrate that PhilHealth is financially robust,
01:44well-positioned to sustain operations,
01:47and fully capable of addressing the healthcare needs of our 115 million members.
01:54Despite the fact that the Department of Health holds PhilHealth,
01:57the agency also assured that there will be no subsidized operations,
