00:00It took more than an hour to extinguish the burning Cold Storage Facility in Quezon City.

00:07Not only did it make it harder to extinguish the fire,

00:10it also added to the fear of the nearby gasoline station.

00:14Maki Pulido was there.

00:19A thick smoke and a fierce fire rose up in this Cold Storage Facility

00:24on FPJ Avenue, Barangay Del Monte, Quezon City earlier this morning.

00:29According to the security guard of the nearby business establishment,

00:32it was past 2 AM when he noticed the thick smoke.

00:36The incident happened quickly and the fire was extinguished immediately with the first alarm.

00:40The part of FPJ Avenue was also closed so that the fire trucks can move freely.

00:45The guard of the nearby business establishment was worried

00:48because the Cold Storage Facility in a gas station is just a wall.

00:52We were worried that we might get hit or it might explode.

00:59We immediately closed our breaker and closed it.

01:03Responding firefighters were also worried.

01:06If the structure collapses outside the gasoline station,

01:10the roof of their store can be damaged.

01:14Earlier, our bomb and our volunteers pushed the iron so that it won't fall here.

01:23It took more than 10 hours before the fire was declared under control,

01:56No one was hurt but the first aid was given to one of the firefighters.
