00:00I love this for them because this is how you want them to act.
00:06If you remember a few weeks ago, I was saying to you how I hope that that thing that drives
00:12Kevin Warren, that thing that sometimes comes out in ways that we don't like, his ego.
00:20I hope that it's one of the things that drives this coaching search.
00:24That one, you can get out from under the thumb of Trace Armstrong with this.
00:29And two, if you're calling it the best job, then you got to stand by that.
00:34You have to make it the most attractive job.
00:37And from what I've heard and from what you've heard, that's what they did.
00:42They already knew they had something that everyone else didn't have.
00:46They had Caleb.
00:47And at the end of the day, you have a quarterback that's still on his rookie deal.
00:51There's still three years before you have to make any real decisions on what Caleb Williams
00:56is.
00:57So they're giving him, at least in theory, the best possible play caller that is available
01:03for Caleb Williams to grow.
01:06I also think that with this move, and we talked about it a little bit from the X and O standpoint,
01:11I'm super excited because I think the stuff that the Lions were doing is more suited to
01:20what Caleb can be and can do than what he was running this year.
01:25So I can't wait to see it.
01:28We saw a little bit of it with Caleb, his sleight of hand, his ability to be athletic
01:36in a telephone booth, sometimes in the pocket, like avoiding.
01:40I can't wait to see what that's like when he now has someone that's really going to
01:45be on him on footwork, who's really going to be on him on, hey, I'm going to make the
01:50throws easier for you because we're going to use play action.
01:54That play action is going to allow you to know where the opening is going to be.
01:59We're going to take steps.
02:01There's that part.
02:02I think Ryan Poles deserves a ton of credit.
