00:23For vertical pull or any kind of movement that I think is one where you're trying to
00:27get a little bit more out of it, squeeze a little bit more out of that thing, lengthened
00:32partials at the end of the set are a really good option.
00:34So even if you can't get all the way to the top of that pull-up and you're down here at
00:39the bottom, just any kind of movement down there, really the research is showing that
00:46that will give you a similar response to doing the whole rep.
00:50So even if you get a couple of lengthened partials, two of those, it's basically the
00:53equivalent of getting two reps of full range.
00:56Since you're building those up over time, that will result in more strength gains, right?
01:02So you'll be working out to doing more reps, right?
01:05My mind, the whole thing's like a big spreadsheet.
01:08And if you're doing more reps, you're going to create more adaptation.
01:12Don't do it in the short position, which is what most people do, where it's like we're
