00:00You guys got to put some respect on my gambling!
00:02Now back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:07All right, the crossover is brought to you by Abundant Life Weight Loss.
00:11They know the secret to losing up to a pound of fat every day.
00:15Go to AbundantLifeWeightLoss.com.
00:17It's welcome in Willard and Dibs and I'm...
00:21That's the worst intro ever.
00:22You sound out on that before it even started.
00:26Yeah, I'm just worn out.
00:27This is the biggest party pooper going.
00:28I'm just worn out.
00:29I'm in a victim role, like I'm wearing you out and you do it to us every day, 20 hours
00:34a week.
00:35Okay.
00:36He got me.
00:37This man...
00:38I'm just worn out, Dibs.
00:39That's all.
00:40You know what the two of you need?
00:41No malice.
00:42I'm just worn out.
00:43This is a little trick that I've heard couples do.
00:44I've heard some...
00:45And not that you're a couple, but you're a couple.
00:47No, we are.
00:48Seven years.
00:49Do you ever try to just look at the other one in the face and on a scale of 100, just
00:56give them a number.
00:57Like today, all I got is 25.
00:59And I want to make it clear.
01:00This isn't like...
01:01And so the other one can be like, I got it.
01:03I'll be your 75 today.
01:04Yeah.
01:05That's a bigger issue going on.
01:06Can you look at him and tell him you're a 12?
01:08No.
01:09You're a 12 today.
01:10And it's not like a Mick Cronin, you know, I'm sick of it.
01:14It's just like, I'm just worn out today.
01:16And you should be.
01:17I am.
01:18Because you've been taking L's left and right.
01:19No, I know.
01:20The Warriors.
01:21No.
01:22Dynasty's going strong.
01:23You told me.
01:24This is what's really going on, Dibs.
01:25You're right.
01:26Dynasty's going strong.
01:27I love Tupac.
01:28And I know my guy loves Bob Dylan.
01:31But not once in the seven years of working with him did he tell me Dylan didn't have
01:35a voice.
01:36So Saturday, I'm listening to Devone and Evan, and they talk about the movie Dylan's in.
01:41And I hear Devone say that Dylan didn't have the best voice.
01:45And I'm thinking to myself, how can he get to the heights of all heights without the
01:48best voice?
01:49Because in my world, the black community, R&B, if you don't have the voice, you ain't
01:55singing.
01:56You're writing for the person with the voice.
01:58So today, I brought that up to him, and he looks at me, and he didn't once realize he
02:04omitted telling me about his guy that he didn't have the best voice, and I thought that was
02:09odd to hear.
02:10It was a different time when the voice wasn't necessarily everything.
02:15Because nowadays, the voice is auto-tuned and trimmed up and everything else.
02:22Sometimes.
02:23What Bob Dylan is, and Steini knows, I'm not a huge fan of his work, but are you okay?
02:29I'm going to it early.
02:30Friday, baby.
02:31I'm trying to wake Steini up.
02:33Go ahead.
02:34Nobody's interrupting.
02:35What Bob Dylan is, is a poet.
02:37And so when you listen to his music, it's about the music, the lyrics, and then the
02:43voice.
02:44When you listen to Beyonce, oh, the single ladies, oh, the single ladies, that's not
02:49poetry.
02:50I get it.
02:51It is her beauty.
02:52It does rhyme.
02:54It's her voice, and her lyrics are mostly nonsensical.
02:58And so Taylor Swift is the epitome of the artist who has it all.
03:02Her lyrics actually are deep and meaningful, and she has a voice, and the music, and all
03:07the rest of it.
03:08But Bob Dylan was not about, and it was at a different time when you didn't need to have
03:14a perfect voice.
03:15It was the 60s and the 70s.
03:17And I'm not knocking him.
03:18I'm just surprised that I had not, you know, the Willard, you said you went and saw him.
03:22And you were like, I didn't know that, because Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, they have
03:26great voices.
03:27And I will say again, I got taken to see him.
03:30And I think it was during a Giants-Royals World Series game, and all I wanted to do
03:33was leave.
03:34But that's me.
03:35That's not disrespect to Bob Dylan.
03:37I was never a huge, and like many of us are, we're a product of what our parents put in
03:41front of us.
03:43My dad was not a Bob Dylan guy.
03:46My dad was not an Elvis Presley guy.
03:48My dad was a Motown guy.
03:50My dad was a Van Morrison guy.
03:53That was my dad.
03:55And so that's like, I never knew about Bob Dylan until I started dating someone that
03:59was into Bob Dylan.
04:01And I'm like, I was kind of like you for a minute.
04:03And I'm saying this without hearing him, on the way home, I'm going to just marvel at
04:07how he got to the height and think like-
04:09You won't.
04:10No, I swear.
04:11It has to be done.
04:12It's all to each his own.
04:14And what sort of like grabs your attention in terms of entertainment?
04:17Yeah, he is known by many.
04:18He was the greatest songwriter.
04:20And I love lyrics.
04:21Whoever lived.
04:22And so, as Dibs said, a poet, there's gravity to it.
04:25There was a message behind it, for sure.
04:28But if what you're trying to do, like if Bob Dylan had shown up on the NBC television show,
04:34The Voice, those chairs aren't turning around.
04:37All right.
04:38Absolutely not.
04:39So he's not doing the national anthem.
04:40No, they wouldn't be like, who's this guy whining into a microphone?
04:44It's not like every modern artist is a great singer.
04:47And I think about Billie Eilish, and I say Eilish because I'm not a fan, but as a singer,
04:54she's not a great singer, but she has a great story and she has unbelievable lyrics.
05:00And what she went through and what she does with her brother, all of that is a part of
05:04the package.
05:05But when she just sings, it's not like she's a great singer.
05:09She's no Olivia Rodrigo.
05:11She's no Ariana Grande.
05:14Billie Eilish is a product of her story, much like Bob Dylan.
05:20Video coming with me listening to The Great Dylan.
05:22I can't wait.
05:23I can't wait.
05:24I'm going to be there just for the facial expression.
05:25I'm excited.
05:26Like, wow.
05:27Well, yeah.
05:28Go ahead, Snyder.
05:29So I'm just tired.
05:30I get it.
05:31I would say-
05:32So is Bob, by the way.
05:33If you put it on when you get in your car in the city, I would say by Treasure Island,
05:41you're back to Tupac.
05:43You won't even make it to Oakland.
05:45Now I have a big appreciation for old, older music.
05:49Like I love, I don't think you're wrong.
05:51You sent me that one song about Cherie, I'm pointing at you.
05:55It was incredible.
05:56He just sent it to me.
05:57We had left the campus here.
05:58What did he say to you?
05:59This song that had a message.
06:00It was incredible.
06:03Elbert McClinton, down in Mexico.
06:07It's about a woman named Cherie who's a little conniver and he didn't find out until that
06:14gun fell out of her purse.
06:15You gotta be careful.
06:16It's a terrific hit.
06:17But I was in traffic, like, speaking to me.
06:18So Dibs, I think you're selling my music a little short.
06:21I'm gonna listen to this man.
06:23Not five minutes.
06:24Like, I'm giving him time.
06:26But again, it's not a racial thing.
06:29But for me growing up, you had to have a great voice to be singing and then there were songwriters
06:34who couldn't sing and you go out there.
06:37We grew up where we grew up, in the house that we grew up in with the parents that we
06:41grew up with.
06:42I can't wait.
06:43And he's a poet.
06:44Yeah.
06:45Yeah.
06:46All right.
06:47Back to the Warriors dynasty.
06:48And he's 83 years old.
06:49Hey guys, stick to sports.
06:50Not bad.
06:51No!
06:52Stick to sports.
06:53No.
06:54No.
06:55Go ahead, Simon.
06:56You had Steve Kerr on yesterday.
06:57Great job.
06:58I'm trying to think of what we...
06:59Back to sports.
07:00What we hit.
07:01What I thought was good.
07:02Well, I did think the Kaminga stuff was...
07:03Yo, I tuned in earlier.
07:04That was the worst part.
07:05And you guys...
07:06Yeah.
07:07It sounded like you guys thought that was a gut punch.
07:09And for people who are just joining, he, I mean, he...
07:10Not even close.
07:11Kaminga is not close.
07:12It feels like he's going to miss two more weeks.
07:13At least.
07:14Oh my gosh.
07:15That took a month.
07:16Dibs and I, the second that came out, based on when they said the re-evaluation was...
07:17Which is Saturday.
07:18Yeah.
07:19He said, he goes, all-star, like, or not all-star, trade deadline, it's after that.
07:20And the trade deadline is still two weeks from tomorrow.
07:21Right.
07:22And it's not even close.
07:23It's not even close.
07:24It's not even close.
07:25It's not even close.
07:26It's not even close.
07:27It's not even close.
07:28It's not even close.
07:29It's not even close.
07:30It's not even close.
07:31It's not even close.
07:32It's not even close.
07:33It's not even close.
07:34It's not even close.
07:35It's not even close.
07:36It's not even close.
07:37It's not even close.
07:38It's not even close.
07:39It's not even close.
07:40It's not even close.
07:41It's not even close.
07:42It's not even close.
07:43It's not even close.
07:44It's not even close.
07:45It's not even close.
07:46It's not even close.
07:47It's not even close.
07:48It's not even close.
07:49It's not even close.
07:50It's not even close.
07:51It's not even close.
07:52It's not even close.
07:53It's not even close.
07:54It's not even close.
07:55It's not even close.
07:56It's not even close.
07:57It's not even close.
07:58Yeah.
07:59Jonathan, we've never seen the re-evaluation happen and then come out of the room and be
08:03like, he's ready to play tomorrow.
08:04He said it quick.
08:05He's not even close.
08:06Yeah.
08:07It's going to be.
08:08It's going to be another three weeks.
08:09I think at least.
08:10Well, when it happened, they said re-evaluation in three weeks, which would be this Saturday.
08:15And then you hear Steve yesterday say, oh, he's not close.
08:18Not close.
08:19Which tells me on Saturday when they re-evaluate, and Steve also said that, you know, he's been
08:23on the bike and he's been doing like some other cardio stuff in the weight room.
08:28He's not like on the foot, like testing it out and all the rest of it.
08:32So I would guess that it's going to be three more weeks from Saturday.
08:37Wow.
08:38Because even when he's ready, then you've got to do the ramp up and all the stuff that
08:40they do.
08:41This came at a horrible time.
08:42It sure did.
08:43It sure did.
08:44Well, there's never a good time for your second best player to have an ankle injury, but yes,
08:49this was.
08:50I mean, if you even thought about like, oh boy, showcase Kaminga on the block, which
08:56I don't know if they did.
08:58And I don't know if he did.
08:59And this is where I think a lot of us have to like take a step back about Dunleavy and
09:05Lacob and Lacob and Dunleavy.
09:07Like who's really calling the shot here as far as like what they're going to do.
09:12Oh yeah.
09:13Scotty, could you do us a favor and play Dibbs and Willard, that sound of our guy on the
09:18podcast that used to cover the Warriors, Logan Murdoch.
09:22Oh my God.
09:23Listen to this.
09:24Oh, okay.
09:25Okay.
09:26I made Logan before we get to it.
09:29Of course you did.
09:30It's a fact.
09:31He knows it.
09:32Mike Dunleavy not necessarily getting the autonomy or knowing what it's like to not
09:38get the autonomy when you're the Warriors GM, when you have an owner like Joe Lacob,
09:42who's all constantly meddling on every single deal, who is pushing you to sign Kaminga to
09:49a big deal when, you know, the coaches keep telling you, hey, I don't think he's that,
09:54I don't know if he's that consistent.
09:56I don't know if that consistent.
09:57I mean, well, I didn't like to hear that at all.
10:00There's a punch there.
10:01No doubt.
10:02Before we get to the basketball, can we start with, has anybody in this room heard that
10:07word attached to Joe Lacob before?
10:10Meddling?
10:11Meddling.
10:12Not since Scooby-Doo.
10:13Yeah.
10:14I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling kids, don't they?
10:18But didn't Bob Myers kind of tell us that without telling us on their going away conference,
10:22without using that word meddling?
10:24Well, but we've known that Joe is a lot.
10:27Plenty of guys have been like, he's hard to work for, he's in your face.
10:31But when it's attached with constant success, no one would use that word.
10:37Now, I mean, he sort of just Jerry Jones'd him a little bit.
10:42Well, I feel like...
10:44Since you're in a cowboy jersey, Goo.
10:46Well, first of all, you're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco, always
10:51live on the free Odyssey app, Twitch and YouTube powered by First NorCal Credit Union.
10:56I've always felt Joe Lacob were something above and beyond meddling.
11:02In other words, to me, a meddling owner is a guy who does sit behind his desk, but is
11:08manipulating behind the scenes.
11:12And then the GM's got to go out and say things that he might not relate.
11:18That to me is a meddling owner.
11:20Guys like Joe Lacob, I think he's the package.
11:23He comes as part of the package.
11:26He's made it clear.
11:27He's going to be involved in this kind of stuff.
11:29Some decisions, I get the sense he's overruled people.
11:34Other decisions, he says, okay, I'll go with us on that one.
11:38But yeah, I guess he's meddling, but we know he's right there all the time.
11:46But we like that as long as it's attached to success.
11:50And what I still forever, because none of us have had a chance to see Joe Lacob operate
11:56without Steph Curry.
11:57So we can sit here now and act like Joe Lacob knows basketball.
12:02I don't know that he does.
12:05He has owned during Steph Curry.
12:08And I've always had a question about this.
12:11It's not even like a good thing or a bad thing.
12:13I already know everything I need to know about Joe Lacob being a quote unquote good
12:17owner because he will put the money in and he has the care.
12:23And that's all you can really ask for for an owner, I think.
12:26But then when you get to the new phase of this person is no longer delegating the basketball
12:34decisions to the basketball people and sort of is like thinking that he or she knows the
12:40sport and we don't really know if they know the sport.
12:45That I still think is coming down the turnpike, because if he's sitting here telling the coaching
12:50staff sign Kaminga and they're like, yeah, but it's like every other day and it feels
12:57like that because they did sign them.
12:58I don't know.
13:00I don't know if that's a good thing.
13:02I don't know.
13:03Look, I if if you're somebody that's, let's say, not a Joe Lacob fan for whatever reason,
13:11you absolutely can say, let's see what the big boy does when Steph's gone.
13:15Right.
13:16And it's true.
13:17Light years.
13:18It's true.
13:19The basketball community.
13:20What are you saying?
13:21That's tiny.
13:22We don't even got to dislike the point.
13:23He had the nerve to say, we're light years ahead of everybody when Steph Curry came with
13:28a package.
13:29Right.
13:30And we're never going to be in the lottery.
13:33You were just in the lottery.
13:34Right.
13:35I do think it's fair without being without because, again, I think he's already proven
13:41to the fans everything he needs to prove as an owner.
13:43I do think it's completely fair, though, to sit here today and be like, I don't know that
13:48Joe Lacob knows how hard this is going to be when he does not have one of the greatest
13:55players of all time on his team.
13:58Depends on how you do it.
13:59And I was running through earlier today, like the demise of dynasties and what happened.
14:05And I looked at the Bulls.
14:07OK, so after the Bulls in the final title of Michael Jordan, they missed it six straight
14:13years and their winning percentage was three thirty one over the next six.
14:17The Lakers after the title, they made the playoffs three more times and then we got
14:22post Kobe and they had a winning percentage of three thirty nine over six years and then
14:27the Spurs after their last playoff in twenty nineteen, which was, you know, after your
14:34final Kauai, you had a three fifty one winning percentage.
14:38You won the lottery.
14:39You got Wenbin Yama.
14:40And where are you?
14:41You're still not back.
14:42You think you might be a playoff team, but you look now, but you're feeling good.
14:45You're feeling better, but you're still not a playoff team.
14:48And the Celtics in twenty thirteen, when they traded Pierce and Garnett and Jason Terry,
14:56they had to wait eleven years to win their next title, during which time they actually
15:01did have a fifty eight percent winning percentage.
15:04But it took them eleven years to get Tatum and Brown and everyone else geared up to win
15:09a title.
15:10The Thunder is the interesting one.
15:12Well, and they traded their two pieces, right?
15:15Pierce and Garnett and Jason Terry.
15:18Yeah.
15:19To get.
15:20Tatum and Browns away and the Picks, and it took them, you know, eleven years to get back
15:26to that point.
15:27The Thunder is the interesting one where they traded Paul George.
15:30And since then, they have a four seventy nine winning percentage, one playoff appearance.
15:35And they are now poised six years later.
15:38They're now poised to make that strike.
15:41So it makes me think about, like, if the Warriors are going to reboot and they are, is it trade
15:48Steph?
15:49Is it ride it out in draft?
15:51Is it trade Steph and Draymond like Boston did?
15:54There are different things.
15:56And the one that strikes me about Lacob is I think that Joe Lacob is more likely to try
16:01to go the Laker route, which is Steph is gone.
16:05Draymond's gone.
16:06Get a big fish.
16:07We're going to get Giannis.
16:08OK.
16:09Yeah.
16:10Because I'm Joe Lacob.
16:11And I like that.
16:12And we're the Warriors.
16:13I think that he thinks that.
16:14And for me, I wonder if that's actually a plausible way to go about it.
16:17Wow.
16:18And I don't.
16:19And we're not there yet.
16:20Of course.
16:21We're getting close watching Steph and Dre play non-competitive basketball.
16:26If this is two years in a row, not making the playoffs.
16:29Yeah.
16:30I didn't know it was coming this fast.
16:32Not for a title.
16:33I'm with you.
16:34And Jordan, they broke that up.
16:35So we didn't see Mike and Scottie not be able to do it on the court.
16:38Shaq left.
16:39This is like, oh, my gosh, I didn't see it this fast.
16:43Quick piece of breaking news, courtesy of Shams, the Miami Heat are planning to suspend
16:49Jimmy Butler for two more games after he missed a team flight today, even though he
16:55had plans to join the Heat tonight.
16:58Keep in mind, for those of you who didn't also see last night when Jimmy did play, he
17:03played in what was clearly an homage to the Phoenix Suns pair of shoes.
17:09It literally, they look like Phoenix Suns shoes without saying Phoenix Suns on them.
17:14And he's going there.
17:15He's going to get his way.
17:16Well, we'll see.
17:17Scottie, you're laughing.
17:18I'm not even mad at you.
17:19But isn't this embarrassing?
17:21For who?
17:22Both parties.
17:23Pat Riley, the Heat.
17:24It's the NBA.
17:25And how nitpicky are you getting, Willer?
17:27We're going to suspend you for two games.
17:29Knowing a trade is probably imminent.
17:30He missed the team flight.
17:31Yeah, he missed the flight.
17:32Well, sorry, I did too.
17:33By the way, you know how much money two games is?
17:36I got you.
17:37For Jimmy?
17:38I mean, it's not like he won't eat, but I mean, still, that's a bother.
17:41But those shoes last night, probably more like $700.
17:44Yeah, a little more than that.
17:46If he's making $50, he's making $400 per game.
17:49Nobody likes getting fined that much money, even when they have boatloads of money.
17:53That's a lot of money.
17:55And I do think the bigger issue is the association, our league, as we used to call it, where these
18:02things are going on where Jimmy Butler is basically with a ski mask on, getting his
18:07way out of town.
18:09You've got Joel Embiid, who doesn't play.
18:12Kawhi Leonard's played in five games.
18:15You have all these players who have the power.
18:18And the motivation to play is lessened by the fact that your contract is guaranteed.
18:23Steiney went off earlier about this.
18:26Classic Steiney ran?
18:28I just think, no, the NBA's become about the players.
18:32It's about longevity, not legacy.
18:34You're right.
18:35It's about, like, Jimmy Butler.
18:38Jimmy Butler is set to make $52 million next year.
18:42He's got a player option.
18:44He's not going to exercise it.
18:46Why?
18:47Because he wants three more years of the NBA lifestyle.
18:53Three and 120 or whatever it is.
18:56I'm sure, like, I think there's some merit to what you're saying.
18:59I also wonder, though.
19:00I'm not saying it's their fault.
19:01No, and even if it is less per year, like, I remember having that debate with you about
19:05Draymond when he was heading into the whole player option thing.
19:10But I do think some guys look at it as, at the end of your career, like, okay, let's
19:15say you have a player option and it's for $30 million for one year.
19:21Or you can sign a three-year deal that's worth $60 million, and you go, oh, well, now you're
19:28going from $30 million to $20 million.
19:30Or in the NBA, since everything's guaranteed, no, you're turning $30 million into $60 million.
19:37That's a lot more money.
19:38I have that.
19:39Because you don't know what will happen the next year if you go play.
19:42Like, I absolutely believe, like, Paul George was more interested in $200 million over the
19:49next four years than where he ended up if it would yield a title.
19:54Probably.
19:55I mean, an LA guy went to Philly.
19:57Yeah.
19:58Yeah.
19:59And as long as they keep rewarding, so then we've got old guys playing half a season.
20:06But, like, within, and here's what I think it really is, within the NBA players, in that
20:12fraternity, Paul George is a boss.
20:18Like he is a boss because at 38 and 39, he's going to be making 58, and that's what it's
20:25about now for that, those kind of guys.
20:29For sure.
20:30And just to bring it back home, it makes me even feel more passionate about the fact that
20:35you've got two guys who aren't cut that way, Steph and Draymond.
20:38Like Steph is making that kind of money to where he could go into complete shutdown mode
20:45at 21 and 21, your team's going nowhere, Steph could have a hammy or a groin or an oblique
20:52or a calf, and he could just shut the thing down, but he doesn't.
20:56And Draymond, the same thing.
20:57I do believe that when Draymond gets healthy, they want to go out there and play.
21:01We're lucky to have these kind of guys who are hundred millionaires who still want to
21:06play basketball.
21:07To that end, and circling back to what we were just talking about with Lacob, what do
21:11you guys think about this?
21:13So, Lacob, it feels like clearly believes he has become the owner and helped build an
21:23unbelievable brand that people want to be a part of.
21:27He's got the formula.
21:28I think a lot of us look at it and go, no, it's not the Warriors.
21:34It's not Chase Center.
21:36It's Steph.
21:38So when Steph goes, Joe feels like the brand remains.
21:45Whatever's been built.
21:46It is one of the most expensive franchises in sports, but does the brand survive Steph
21:53or at least what level of it is gone?
21:55That's what I'm worried about.
21:57Yeah, it's going to be his first at bat.
21:59What do you guys think?
22:00Ninety-eight percent of the brand is gone when Steph, and it is Joe's duty to get it
22:08back to ninety-eight, back to a hundred, and he may not ever get it back.
22:11That's why I must build through the draft.
22:17I must because I don't count on a superstar non-champion to come to the bay after Steph.
22:27I don't think you're going to be able to get a guy like that because there is something
22:35about Jordan and the Bulls following that.
22:39If I were a superstar but I didn't have a ring and I were a free agent in three years,
22:45I'm not coming to the Warriors.
22:47I'm just not.
22:48If you were a ring-centered thought process, decorated veteran, not terribly old, but let's
22:56say you're thirty-two, like right now, would you want to join Golden State or Oklahoma
23:02City?
23:03Yeah, Oklahoma City.
23:04Right.
23:05In Oklahoma.
23:06See, that's my concern.
23:08I don't think the brand so much anymore are the teams.
23:11I think it's the players.
23:13And they want to be with each other and they don't care where.
23:17They just want to be with each other.
23:19And that's what makes it interesting when you look back at L.A. because when LeBron
23:22went to L.A. they were coming off of the post-Kobe era and LeBron was unique because he wanted
23:29to go to L.A. for L.A. and his brand and all the rest of it.
23:33So if you think about Giannis, for example, if he's a free agent post-Steph and he's looking
23:39at his option and he's licking his chops, does he want to come to a 25-57 Golden State
23:46team with Kaminga and Pods?
23:48Or does he want to go to OKC and play the three with Shea and Chet and the fellas?
23:55But they would be 25-57 without him.
23:57He would be coming to that, but with his services, the goal would be Giannis is thinking, I can
24:02turn this around.
24:03And he's thinking he can do that anywhere.
24:05Right.
24:06I think it is, let's say the Warriors right now started devising a plan to get max cap
24:11space in two years after Curry retires.
24:15And they create it.
24:16You know, the Lakers were looking at Shaq two years ahead of time.
24:19So you find when Donchich, when's Donchich a free agent?
24:23That the year after Steph, OK, we've cleared our books for Donchich.
24:28Steph just retired.
24:29Why would he come here?
24:32Like I don't, that's the part I don't see.
24:35And what's different in the NBA?
24:36He hasn't won one.
24:37Well, these players already know what their salary is going to be.
24:41It's max salary.
24:42They know what it is.
24:43Right.
24:44They don't have to do what Aaron Judge and they don't have to do that.
24:47Like when you come up to what the Giants offered, you don't have to do that.
24:50They know it's a five-year deal worth whatever, right?
24:55Three hundred, four hundred million dollars.
24:57So then the whole pitch comes down to what are you doing for me?
25:03What are you offering around me that will help me win a title?
25:07And if all you do.
25:08But a lot can change by then.
25:09Sure, but if all you do is clear your books, that's step one.
25:13You got to get some people.
25:14Who are my teammates?
25:15Yeah.
25:16Yeah.
25:17All right, gents, well, you have a great show.
25:19These guys are going to take you to six.
25:22Devon's got Greg Cosell and Logan Webb today.
25:26Look at Logan Webb.
25:27Logan Webb, big Kings fan.
25:29Logan Webb.
25:30Yeah, boy.
25:31Yeah.
25:32All right.
25:33Have a great one.
