00:00Jiro Manio, the art of indie film airplane paper is ready to fly again.

00:07Let's find out the details from MJ Pereña.

00:13After a few years of rest from the industry of showbiz,

00:17the former multi-awarded child actor and best actor, Jiro, will return to the big screen again

00:24through an indie film airplane paper.

00:29Here, Jiro will play Pedring,

00:31and according to the actor, many important lessons will be learned by the audience from his character.

00:38I think their example here is how to make it important to the audience,

00:47to our viewers,

00:49because this story wants to go back to the past,

00:52wants to time travel,

00:55but his master doesn't want him to,

00:57he wants him to try time travel,

01:02because he's tired of living.

01:04The concept of the story is from the famous director and artist, Ron Sapinoso,

01:09and the script was written by Nathaniel Perez,

01:12who also participated in the trials he faced while writing the film.

01:18We know that as time goes by,

01:21the chances of making a different story decrease,

01:27because it can be the same.

01:29So, those are the common challenges.

01:32In our trial, the co-producer, Marvin Favis, and the director, Andre Bogos,

01:38also shared the importance of the film airplane paper

01:41in the current state of the film industry in the Philippines.

01:45There are a lot of films like romance, comedy, horror,

01:50but we also need these kinds of inspirational and educational films

01:56that will have a big impact on our children.

02:00We don't really believe that our contribution is that big,

02:04especially in this film,

02:06but if we are given a chance,

02:12this is what we want.

02:14This is what the director taught us,

02:19that a good story can change a person's life.

02:26Aside from Jiro, new artists like Princess Johns,

02:31Rayesha Pérez, Bianca Donor, Daniel Briones, and the vlogger, Rai TV,

02:36will also be featured in the film.

02:38Ryan Manuel Favis, the executive producer of the film,

02:43and some of the co-producers, Milo Bondoc and Pete Nogaliza,

02:48The airplane paper is expected to be released on April 7, 2025.
