00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. Here is everything that's going on this week in the city.
00:04Firstly, this is the last week that you can see David Hockney's bigger and closer exhibition at
00:07Aviva Studios. The installation allows people to get up close and personal with Hockney's art
00:12in a completely new way. At the Fairfield Social Club there's a screening of the final
00:16episode of The Traitors with Sam O'Leary and Tom Lawrenson hosting. At Grubb this weekend,
00:20Extra Veganza 2025 is here, pardon me for butchering the name. Essentially it's a street
00:26food market made up entirely of vegan ware, largely from independent and quirky sellers.
00:30And something for the kids, the hunt is now on to find the UK's best mini master model builder
00:34with a competition going on this weekend at the Legoland Discovery Centre. Kids will have to
00:38demonstrate their intelligence and creativity in building something cool for the judges and
00:42maybe cementing their name in the annals of history. There's some great live events going
00:46on in Manchester this week as well, with Day Fever taking on the New Century Hall this Saturday to
00:50rock people's world with a daytime disco that should save you from sleeping your Sunday away.
00:54Doors open at three and the party goes on until seven. That's all for now though,
00:57follow Manchester World for more and we'll see you next week.
