00:00The Philippine ships experienced a new type of harassment from the China Coast Guard
00:06that is conducting research in San Dike 2 and 3 in the West Philippine Sea.
00:11Here is the report.
00:19According to the Marine Scientific Survey and Sun Sampling this Friday,
00:23in San Dike near Pagasa Island,
00:26seen in the video shared by PCG,
00:29the Chinese military helicopter flew above the BIFAR's Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat or RIB.
00:40This is not the only new type of harassment done by China
00:43where the BIFAR's ship was repeatedly hit by the China Coast Guard.
00:49Because of these dangerous moves by China,
00:52PCG and BIFAR stopped their operation.
00:55Therefore, the sample was not taken as it is important to investigate the marine environment around San Dike.
01:02The report on the incident was sent to the National Task Force West Philippine Sea
01:07for the next step of the government.
01:11PCG continued to monitor the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines in Zambales.
01:17The ships of the China Coast Guard were replaced here.
01:21But because of the hard work of PCG's ship BRP Cabra,
01:25the Chinese ship was still able to sail up to 90 nautical miles from the country's coastline.
01:31We have to deal with our president, Marcos, professionally.
01:37We should not be instigated.
01:40This kind of bullying should not result to an escalatory response on the part of the Philippine government.
01:49So what we're doing is we document all of this bullying and aggressive actions of the People's Republic of China.
01:56We also publicize this for the Filipino people and the international community to learn about such unlawful activities.
02:04Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of the Philippines announced
02:08the successful rotation and resupply of the BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal.
02:15The AFP said that it will continue to support our troops stationed in the West Philippine Sea.
02:22PCG is pleased.
02:24This is the fifth RORE mission since July last year without an toward incident.
02:30In the bilateral consultation mechanism of the Philippines and China this month,
02:34the provisional agreement on RORE was agreed.
02:38Patrick de Azuz for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
