00:00The mock elections in different parts of the country are now in full swing.

00:06This is still part of the preparations for the Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:16The mock elections in different parts of the country were a success.

00:21Among the places where the mock elections were held were Taguig, Pateros, Makati, Mountain Province, Rizal, Eastern Samar, Surigao del Norte, Zulu, and Special Geographic Area.

00:33The mock elections were held in Hulusulu and Patikul, Zulu.

00:38Election Watchdog, Political Parties, and Coalition of Political Parties were also present.

00:43The aim of the mock elections is to assimilate the end-to-end voting process.

00:46The voters are actual registered voters from the clustered precincts.

00:51According to Section 9 of RA 9369, which amended Section 11 of RA 8436,

00:58the success of the mock elections is one of the requirements for the issuance of a certificate by the Technical Evaluation Committee.

01:06This is proven by the International Certification Entity of the Automated Election System,

01:12along with its hardware and software components,

01:15that it is working properly and that the security is correct.

01:18We saw in all the events earlier that the contingency measures worked.

01:22That's why the mock elections were successful, 100% completed, and it proves that we are ready.

01:28Komalek also held a voter education and automated counting machine demonstration

01:33for four-piece beneficiaries in Minit Forest, Darussalam, Davao City,

01:37and students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Santa Mesa, Manila.

01:42It's important because there are a lot of first-time voters here,

01:46and with this kind of event, they will know how to do it in the election.

01:51They don't have to rush, they don't have to be afraid.

01:54Komalek is hoping to hear the voice of the youth in the upcoming election

01:58because they are playing a big role in shaping the future of the country.
