00:00In the last reading of the Senate, the bill renewing the franchise of the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, or IBC-13, for an additional 25 years.
00:12In the bottom 21 affirmative votes, no one abstained.
00:18IBC-13 President Jimmy Policapio expressed his gratitude for the support of the Congress for the network.
00:26His great help is the new franchise to improve the service of IBC-13 to the public.
00:34The plan of the network is to use every support from the government for the modernization and digitalization of its operation.
00:43Expecting more family-friendly programs, programs that reflect the initiatives of the government and the campaign against fake news.
00:54He also added that the approval of the franchise is a good start for the future of IBC-13.
