AP Govt Focus on Solar Power : ప్రజలపై విద్యుత్ ఛార్జీల భారాన్ని గణనీయంగా తగ్గించేందుకు ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. కేంద్ర ప్రాయోజిత పథకమైన పీఎం సూర్యఘర్‌ యోజన కింద ప్రతి ఇంటినీ సోలార్ ద్వారా విద్యుత్ వినియోగానికి అనుసంధానించేందుకు సర్కార్ అడుగులు వేస్తోంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కోటి మందికిపైగా డ్వాక్రా మహిళలున్న నేపథ్యంలో వారి ద్వారా అంచెలంచెలుగా విస్తృత పరచాలని నిర్ణయించింది. తొలి విడతగా లక్ష మంది డ్వాక్రా మహిళల ఇళ్లపై సోలార్ రూఫ్‌టాప్‌ను అమర్చాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.

01:21A rooftop with a capacity of 3 kilowatts costs Rs. 1.40 lakhs and a permit costs Rs. 70,000.
01:25Dwakra women can install rooftops on their houses.
01:30The government is taking the responsibility of paying the remaining 7% interest rate to the banks.
01:38If the Dwakra women are not able to pay even 10% of the interest rate,
01:42the bank and the women's association will not be able to pay the entire interest rate.
