00:23Why is illegal drag racing still being done on the Marilaque Highway?

00:29That's right sir. We have seen the area of Marilaque Highway. It is one of the longest highways in our country.

00:39That's why our countrymen are interested in driving on this highway because it is 115 kilometers long.

00:50This is a long Marilaque Highway. It is a means of transportation for our countrymen.

00:57But what is the responsibility of those who are guarding the area to stop illegal drag racing because this is not the first time. There have been many accidents in that area.

01:07Yes sir, you are right. This is a complete reservation by the Philippine National Police, especially in our Highway Patrol Group.

01:16This is not only for us, but also for our local and all our agencies that have issues regarding motor vehicles.

01:24That's why we will give coordination to our Director, Police Brigadier General Sergey Mata on his coordination in the Land Transportation Office,

01:35as well as our local LPUs and local police force to solve our problem here in Marilaque Highway.

02:12Yes sir. You are right sir. The Highway Patrol Group has assigned our force to the Rizal Highway Patrol Team.

02:20Seventeen of our people were added to the force from Laguna, together with their officers, here in Quezon Province.

02:29All day yesterday, our people, especially those who are coming down from Marilaque,

02:37there is always a Highway Patrol Group there, especially in the areas that you mentioned.

02:41They are also included in Palo Alto, Demon Curb, Devil's Curb and even in areas where there are a lot of people.

02:53What is the answer to the law regarding those who are participating in these activities?

02:59Sir regarding this law, we can include the RA 4136 or our Land Transportation and Traffic Code,
