00:00We're just delighted to actually be able to identify that 2025 looks like it matched up to
00:06the post-COVID excellence of 2024, which many venues reported was the best they've actually
00:12achieved for 10 to 15 years. And so it's looking very much like 2025 hasn't let us down, with great
00:20numbers sort of reported for a lot of venues. We've got sold out shows all over the city,
00:26right the way through to just the general vibe, over 500 buskers this year, more than 700 artists,
00:32so couldn't be happier that we've been able to deliver another successful 10-day festival for
00:37Tamworth. We had 2,300 attend the awards, and that was up a couple of hundred on last year.
00:45We had sellout shows for Casey Chambers, Shane Nicholson, James Johnson, Troy Casadale had 1,500,
00:54Lee was pretty close to that, John Williamson had 1,500, he did a special show here at Trek,
00:59normally at Town Hall. Yeah, look, our numbers are up right across.
01:03What was it like having such a big surprise performance? How much notice did you have, and what was it like?
01:09Yeah, it was quite a surprise. We had some of Keith's label come in the day before,
01:17but obviously it was super busy time, and I thought they were more looking for new artists
01:21rather than a place for Keith to drop in. Then, yeah, had a bit over an hour's grace to
01:29sort of get ourselves ready. There was a fair bit of sweat and concern, because the pub at that
01:34point was quite full, and there was also sort of the idea that if it was a little bit too
01:40crazy and full that he might not be able to do it, just, you know, it creates issues.
