00:00More than 600 TUPAD beneficiaries in South Cotabato were received financial assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment.
00:08The details of this were reported by Sofia Turnos of the Philippine Information Agency, SOCSARGEN.
00:15The Department of Labor and Employment in Region 12 carried out a payout for 694 beneficiaries
00:22in order to provide financial assistance to our disadvantaged workers or TUPAD from Lake Cebu, South Cotabato,
00:28where 4,170 pesos were received each.
00:32The total amount of 2,893,980 pesos was divided by the DOLE in exchange for 10 days of service to the beneficiaries of TUPAD
00:42under the project Enhancing Sustainability by Clearing Waterways and Promoting Urban Gardening of Pamalang, Padnalawigan, South Cotabato.
00:51It is a privilege for the DOLE, for the people of Lake Cebu and other municipalities to be able to provide services to them.
01:03There is dignity, right? There is dignity.
01:05People have a right to work.
01:08They will do their job.
01:10If they are able to earn income from their 10-day work, they will be able to provide services to their families.
01:18The DOLE is very grateful to the beneficiaries for the blessings they received from the TUPAD program,

01:30they will continue to support and implement programs that will help and benefit the disadvantaged workers,
