प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश: तीर्थराज प्रयागराज में आयोजित दिव्य और भव्य महाकुंभ के लिहाज से आज का दिन बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है। आज मौनी अमावस्या का पर्व है और इस अवसर पर संगम में महास्नान के लिए देश विदेश से करोड़ों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु संगम नगरी पहुंचे हुए हैं। श्रद्धालुओं के भारी दबाव की वजह से देर रात अखाड़ा मार्ग पर हालात बेकाबू हो गए और इस दौरान मची भगदड़ में कुछ लोग घायल हो गए। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पूरी घटना के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि जो भी श्रद्धालु घायल हुए हैं, उनका समुचित इलाज किया जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के मुताबिक मौनी अमावस्या के पर्व पर संगम तट पर आठ से दस लाख श्रद्धालु मौजूद हैं। श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा, सुरक्षा और उन्हें सकुशल स्नान कराने के लिए पुलिस और प्रशासन पूरी तरह से मुस्तैद है।
