00:00Welcome to another episode of the Goldmouth Action Podcast, where we take a look at the
00:04latest goings-on at Brian Hovarby and Crawley Town. I'm Matt Pole and this week I'm joined
00:08by Brighton writer Darren Howard, Crawley Town expert Mark Dunford and Sam Morton who
00:12covers both the Seagulls and the Reds.
00:15Brighton's unbeaten start to 2025 came to a limp end as they were beaten 1-0 home by
00:19a resurgent Everton. We'll look back at that defeat against the Toffees plus, we'll bring
00:23you the latest injury and transfer news as Brighton prepare for Saturday's trip to high-flying
00:27Nottingham Forest and we'll also bring you the latest from Crawley Town. You can read
00:32all the stories we are talking about with videos and pictures online at sussexworld.co.uk

00:45But we'll start at the Amex where Illyman and Dyee's first-half penalty proved decisive
00:50as Everton eased their relegation fears with victory at Brighton. With seven minutes of
00:54the first half remaining, Joel Venman appeared to deliberately shepherd the ball out of play
00:57with his hand while under pressure from Beto inside the box. After consulting his pitch
01:01side monitor, referee Tim Robinson pointed the spot and Dyee sent a low effort into the
01:06bottom corner. I was following this on BBC Sport, Deren, and it seemed that Brighton
01:11really struggled to create anything, but sum that performance up for us, if you will.
01:15Yeah, I think you're right. They did struggle in attacking areas. It was a pretty lacklustre
01:22display and Everton just defended, you know, very, very well and Brighton just didn't have
01:28the sort of composure or the pace and did the right decision-making to break them down
01:34in the end. They tried, they huffed and puffed, but obviously, yeah, a few decisions didn't
01:43quite go their way and I don't think they really troubled, other than a few bits in
01:48the first half, I don't think they really troubled Jordan Pickford in the Everton goal
01:52too much. And as you say, the main talking point was the Joel Veltman incident, where Veltman,
01:59you know, he's one of these defenders that always plays on the limits of probably,
02:04he blurs the lines of what you shouldn't do and often they go his way, sort of, you know,
02:10the instance with Declan Rice and he had a real tussle with Liam De Laff of Ipswich as well.
02:17And he's a clever, clever player, but sometimes he's, he just goes a bit and I actually thought
02:23it was a penalty when my first view, when I saw it, I thought he was pushed, but then watching
02:28it again, you could definitely see that arm movement come around and it was a deliberate
02:32action to scoop the ball away, which was a bizarre thing to do really. But yeah, they were punished
02:41for it. Yancuba Minta came on after the break, they brought some attacking players on, but
02:47yeah, they just couldn't break through. It was a stubborn David Moyes Everton performance
02:53and another disappointing result at the Amex. So it's now sort of five matches at the Amex now
02:57without a win. So it's, yeah, frustrating in that respect for Brighton.
03:03Absolutely. And we'll talk about Yancuba Minta a little bit later on in the podcast,
03:07but at the end of the game, Brighton v Everton descended into a brawl with both sets of players
03:12pulled apart by security. Sam, why did tempers boil over at the full-time whistle? What provoked
03:18the brawl and what did the managers and players say anything about the scenes at full-time?
03:22Yeah, it's all a bit of a crazy, crazy kind of end to the game. It seemed to all stem from
03:28Jordan Pickford. I think he was winding up the fans as the clock was running down.
03:33And he also seemed to be involved in an incident with Van Hecker where he attempted to punch a
03:38corner clear, but instead made contact with the Brighton defender. And it seemed like the thing
03:43that instigated all the chaos was that Van Hecke showed his kind of disapproval with Pickford's
03:50behavior at the end. And then it kind of all became a big brawl. Everyone got involved. Yancuba Minta
03:56and Jacob Bryant ended up getting booked as a result. Hurtzler came onto the pitch and gave
04:01Pickford a really dirty look. And it all seemed to stem from the Everton keeper. He'd actually
04:08already been booked during the game for time-wasting. And Hurtzler made the comment post-match
04:12that he should have been sent off for a second offence of time-wasting. And he seemed to be
04:17really angry that he got away with it. But we know what Pickford's like. He's a bit of a wind-up
04:21merchant. And he's clearly got into Brighton's heads big time in this match that obviously all
04:26came to a head, probably because of the result. They're probably really frustrated. They dropped
04:30more points at home and they just started to pick up a good run of form. And this was a
04:35disappointing defeat. And as Deren mentioned, they just didn't have that cutting edge to get the
04:40job done on the occasion. So, yeah, a really frustrating one. So, yeah, O'Brien himself,
04:47the Everton player who's booked, said he'd seen that the heads were frustrated for Brighton and
04:51there's a little brawl with Pitts. He just went in to kind of separate it. There wasn't really much
04:55in it. So, yeah, it obviously all died down pretty quickly. And Brighton will be looking to bounce
05:00back from a disappointing day. I didn't think you were going to say something else when you
05:03said Jordan Pickford was a wind-up merchant. I thought you were going to say another word
05:06beginning with W. My heart was in my mouth, but you effortlessly sidestepped it, Sam. Good work.
05:12Moving on, it emerged last week that Amien Kouba Minta, who scored one and assisted another in last
05:17week's 3-1 win at Man United, was left out of the starting XI by Fabian Hertzeler after reporting
05:22late for pre-match preparations. What do you make of the Germans' decision to drop Minta Deren?
05:27It seemed like it was very much questioned online that he wasn't picked. But it was,
05:31I suppose, in hindsight, good to see the German laying down the law a little bit, I suppose.
05:36Yeah, he showed that you have to abide by the rules and be punctual for these team meetings.
05:43And apparently it's not the first incident where Janko Minta has been late for some of these
05:48pre-match meetings or training as well. So, yeah, it's a definite disciplinary decision.
05:57I asked Hertzeler about it after the match and he sort of declined to take the opportunity to
06:03say that it was that he was late and that it was a disciplinary decision. He said that
06:08it was a tactical move because he wanted, he thought Brian Gruder, who was just returning
06:14from injury, would be better against the low block that Everton were setting up with. So,
06:21he didn't really want to go into detail. I think he might be asked a bit more about it in today's
06:26press conference. But, yeah, I think it's a good thing. I think, especially if it's...
06:34He did come off the bench, so I think all things were forgiven in the end. He came on with about
06:4010 or 15 minutes to go. And I think he'll be in the team against Nottingham Forest.
06:46But it was an odd decision because Hertzeler was talking pre-match about the consistency
06:52that they need in these attacking areas. He wants a more stable team. He wants a bit more
06:56continuity. And Minto played so well against Manchester United, scored a goal, got an assist
07:02as well. And with Karam Atom on each blank and Danny Welbeck in that central area, I think that's
07:08the best Brighton attacking trio with perhaps Rutter or Pedro in behind at the moment. So,
07:16I think hopefully he'll be on time in future and we can now see that consistency in the attacking
07:23areas that we're looking for. But, yeah, overall, I think you can't really argue with Hertzeler's
07:27decision to lay down the law a little bit in that regard. Yeah, absolutely. Well, moving to
07:33matters off the pitch, the race to sign Evan Ferguson during the January transfer window took
07:37another fresh new twist this week. Reports emerged on Tuesday claiming Brighton will now consider
07:42letting the in-demand striker leave the Amex on a permanent deal this month. Sam, how surprised
07:48are you by the Seagulls' decision to potentially leave one of their sought-after talents, let him
07:53leave the club permanently, and who do we know is in the race potentially to sign the Ireland
07:57international? Yeah, I'm very surprised. I got the notification through from The Athletic and
08:03I kind of misread it at first. I thought it was confirming what we all knew, that
08:06Brighton were open to letting him leave on loan. But then when I kind of read it properly,
08:10I realised it was open to letting him leave permanently. And I was really taken aback, really.
08:13I was not expecting that because he's such a talent. We all know what he can do. And in Brighton's
08:19shirt, he's still so young and so much time to develop. And obviously, he has been out of form
08:24for a long time. He hasn't hit those heights that we probably expected to when he was
08:28first on the scene scoring hat-tricks and just showing that eye for goal that you just very
08:33rarely see in a player of his age. And as you all know, strikers of quality are so hard to come by.
08:41At the moment. So it would be a real surprise if he was to be let go permanently. But West Ham,
08:47Everton, Bournemouth and Bayer Leverkusen will continue to track the striker. He does seem to be
08:53unsettled. And Bayer Leverkusen was interesting, actually, because it seems like their striker,
08:57Boniface, is going to Al-Nasr in Saudi Arabia. So a potential placement for him. But yeah,
09:04it's an interesting one. I think it would make more sense for him to go out on loan,
09:08even for the team he goes to, because obviously, with his injury record, there's no guarantee he's
09:14going to be able to recover from it and play regular football. So I think that they would
09:18probably be better to get him on loan just as much as Brighton are to let him leave on loan,
09:22because it's a risk for both teams if you were to sanction a permanent transfer.
09:27He's made 79 appearances for Albion in total with 17 goals and five assists. But West Ham are also
09:33in a run to sign him, according to reports. And he'd also be reunited with his former boss,
09:39Graham Potter. Obviously, they worked together at Brighton. And he even had a Ferguson's debut
09:44back in August 2021. So it's an interesting one. But the Seagulls are believed to favour a loan
09:49move, as Ferguson looks to gain more minutes on the pitch, but also opens that permanent switch.
09:55So yeah, time will tell, I guess. But as I mentioned, I'll be very surprised if he's let go
09:59permanently.
10:01Absolutely. Well, this Saturday sees the Seagulls make the trip to high-flying Nottingham Forest.
10:06And they've well and truly defied expectations this season. Forest sit third in the Premier League,
10:10but they suffered a thumping 5-0 defeat at Bournemouth last weekend. How do you see this
10:14one going, Darren? And what is the latest news from the Brighton camp in terms of injuries?
10:20Yeah, it's a game I'm really looking forward to. I've been to the city ground a few times now,
10:25and there's always a good atmosphere in Nottingham Forest. So it's one of my favourite
10:30grounds to go to. And I think it's going to be a good game. It was quite fiery when they
10:34drew 2-2 back at the Amex earlier in the season. So I think there's going to be some... That will
10:42be part of the team talk, I think. They probably should have won that game, and it was another
10:47disappointing draw at the Amex. And Brighton's away form is probably better than their home
10:52form at the moment. So I really expect to see a good game. Nottingham Forest obviously looking
10:58to bounce back from that defeat against Bournemouth as well. So yeah, Saturday 12.30 kick-off,
11:06so it should be a good one for Brighton. But with regard to team news, Sam mentioned
11:13Evan Ferguson. I think he's going to be out still. He's been struggling with an ankle injury,
11:18and plus with all the talk of a potential move away, I don't think he's going to be involved
11:24again. And then you've got the long-term absentees still. James Milner, he's expected
11:29to miss out. He's still struggling with a hamstring. Ferdy Kadioglu, he's got a toe problem.
11:35Igor Julio, he's still out for the season with his hamstring problem.
11:41Matt Swiffer as well. Hopefully he can come back into the fold. Jack Hinshelwood as well. He came
11:48on as a substitute in the defeat against Everton. So he's easing his way back to fitness. So there
11:54are certain players which are coming back into the team, which would be quite encouraging
12:00for Brighton. There's still a few issues defensively. Lewis Dunk and Adam Webbs have
12:04had their injuries this season. So I think there could be a late move in a transfer window for
12:10Aaron Cashin from Derby. They've already bid £12 million for him, and I think he could be a late
12:16arrival in the window. But I think he won't arrive in time for the Nottingham Forest game,
12:21unfortunately. But yeah, it's a game I'm looking forward to.
12:26Absolutely. Well, best of luck to Brighton and Nottingham Forest this weekend. We will now take
12:29a short break, but stay tuned as when we return, we will be discussing all things Crawley Town.
12:35Welcome back to part two and Crawley Town. We're on the road twice this week in League One. The
12:40Reds travelled to high-flying Stockport-Campstead and fell to a 2-0 defeat on Saturday. Sum that
12:46game up for us, please, Sam. By all accounts, it sounded like an afternoon to forget for Rob Elliott's
12:50men. Yeah, absolutely. It was a poor day in the office for Crawley. Rob Elliott was pretty
12:57unhappy with the performance. He said they just didn't turn up for 45 minutes and then they go
13:02again. They again go 1-0 down and then they decide to start playing. He said they got bullied,
13:07outrun and ultimately the league position is the reason they have to do more and they have to kind
13:15of start games on the front foot and Stockport actually gave Crawley a lesson on the day.
13:21So it's a difficult one, but they were without the injured Toby Malarkey,
13:25Joey McKenna and Armando Quintana, who was missing a mid-transfer speculation.
13:32So yes, it's difficult for Crawley if they're not going to have all their key players in the team
13:36with the league position they're in to try and get the results they need. Obviously,
13:41in this game it didn't work out and obviously it did get better, as we'll be talking about in a
13:46minute, but this game in particular was a poor day in the office and Crawley were
13:51disappointed to come out of this game 2-0 losers. Well, it absolutely did get better for them
13:57because Tuesday night saw Crawley return to the running trail as a late strike from Adi Adiemo
14:02saw the Reds in victory over Mansfield. What did you make of that Crawley performance, Mark? I only
14:07watched the first half and it was a pretty dull affair, but reading about their performance in
14:11the second half of the play, it sounded like it was a warranted win for the Reds. Yeah, you chose
14:16the wrong half to watch, Matt. As we were discussing the other day in the first half,
14:21because where the camera was as well, it was pointed on a stand that looked like it was going
14:25under a building site, so it's obviously having some renovations, but it looked like the standard
14:31of the game in the first half and the way it looked just looked like a non-league match.
14:36There's no disrespect to non-league football, we love non-league football in Sussex newspapers,
14:41world, but yeah, second half Crawley were brilliant. I mean, Mansfield weren't very good,
14:47but Crawley took full advantage of that and absolutely dominated and they should have won
14:52by two or three clear goals in the end. They were really good. Rush on Hepburn Murphy
14:57was really impressive, arguably his best game for Crawley Town. Will Swan had a few chances,
15:03his finishing just letting him down a little bit, but Adi Adiemo came on and made an impact,
15:08scoring the winner, but the defence and the goalkeeper were absolutely magnificent. Just
15:14in the first half, Mansfield posed a lot more threat than they did in the second half,
15:19but Dion Conroy and Charlie Barker in particular were absolutely brilliant. On the player ratings,
15:25I gave Matt Cox eight out of ten and I only gave eight out of ten because he didn't have anything
15:30to do. If he'd actually had loads to do, certainly in the second half, he would have got nine or ten
15:36because he was really good on his debut. Crawley announced signing literally two hours before
15:40kickoff and suddenly they've got a new goalkeeper. Who knows what that means for Jojo Walakot,
15:45I don't know if he's injured, but yeah, they were really, really good. And I should mention Ben
15:52Radcliffe as well, new signing, look like he'd been playing for Crawley for years,
15:55had a real good understanding with the other two in the back three and Bradley Ibrahim as well,
16:00need to mention him in the base of midfield. He is like the new Jay Williams in that role and
16:05break and play up, but he's so intelligent with the ball as well. So yeah, no, really good
16:10performance and something to take into a big game this weekend at home to Wrexham.
16:15Absolutely. And you mentioned the new boys that Crawley have brought in. Two of them made their
16:19bows at Mansfield on Tuesday evening. We mentioned Matthew Cox, a goalkeeper signed online from
16:23Brentford until the end of the season. He played the full 90 minutes of the one-call stadium,
16:27but Quaid's also brought midfielder Kamari Doyle, a low knee from Brighton, and he came off the
16:32bench to play the final nine minutes. And we've kind of touched on Cox a little bit there, Mark,
16:37but how did the new boys equip themselves? And it certainly sounds like there's positive to take
16:40from the debuts, especially Matthew Cox. Yeah, I realised I should have saved all
16:46that Cox bit for this question. But yeah, he was really impressive. He was dominant in the
16:51first half. Like I said, he was under a bit more pressure, but it's such confidence in claiming
16:56that we're coming out and claiming the ball, a couple of good saves and yeah, just commanded
17:01his area really well. And that actually looked like he had a really good understanding, again,
17:05with Conroy Barker, people who he'd only trained with like 24 hours, as far as I understand.
17:10So really impressive. He's from Brentford. He's played England at youth level, under 20s.
17:16He's got experience at this level, which is absolutely key in what Crawley need really,
17:20because he played 30 games for Bristol Rovers in the first half of the season online. So yeah,
17:27really impressive. And Kamari Doyle, he only came on for the last 10 minutes, but
17:32he had a couple of touches which showed good signs. I mean, Rob Elliott said afterwards,
17:37in some of our transitions, I've always touched and strength was excellent. He's an exceptional,
17:42exceptional, exceptional talent. He's not just exceptional, he's double that. And he's a lovely
17:47kid. And again, he's been exposed to this level. He's been at Exeter as well on loan. So hopefully,
17:53I don't know why it didn't work out at Exeter and why he hadn't, they didn't want him keeping there,
17:57but it's to Crawley's benefit. And obviously, he's a local lad, come from Brighton, trains
18:03literally across the road from where Crawley, or plays from where Crawley trains. So yeah,
18:09the signs are good. And you can see now Rob Elliott's really shaping it into his team,
18:15because there are still obviously elements of Scott Lindsay's team from the first half of the
18:19season, sort of the first couple of games, months of the season. So now we're really starting to see
18:24a Rob Elliott squad be built. So no, really interesting. And I'm impressed. Yeah, Matt Cox
18:30is going to be a good keeper for Crawley Town, by the looks of it. Yeah, he did look very good
18:34on the bits that I saw of him. But the Reds made a third signing this week as well, snapping up
18:39Barrow defender Rory Feeley for an undisclosed fee. Feeley, sorry, wasn't named in the Crawley
18:44squad that played at Mansfield. But what do we know about the 28-year-old Sam? Good signing for
18:47the Reds? Yeah, no, it's an interesting one. Absolutely. Rob Elliott actually revealed that
18:52he's someone they wanted to sign at Gateshead before he moved to Crawley. So he's a typical
18:56Irish lad, an absolute warrior, gives you absolutely everything. He's quick, good in the
19:00air, and he's good with the ball. And he likes to travel with it. He came over from Ireland three or
19:03four years ago, and now he has another chance to step up, a bit like Ben Ratcliffe, adjust the
19:08level and help Crawley, because they need good pros in the team and good people to take them
19:13into the fight. And Rory's definitely someone who can do that. He did have a slight hamstring issue,
19:18so he wasn't ready for Mansfield. But hopefully he will have some involvement on Saturday.
19:23So yeah, definitely interesting signing. And hopefully he can hit the ground running. But
19:29he has signed a one-year deal for Crawley. So yeah, time will tell how it gets on and if that's
19:35extended in the future. We'll wait and see. Well, late this evening, well after this podcast has
19:40been recorded and published, Crawley Town Chairman Preston Johnson will host a fans forum at the
19:46Broadfield Stadium. Mark, why has Preston decided to host this public forum now? And what topics can
19:52we expect to be potentially brought up at this public forum? Yeah, it's a very interesting timing
19:59on why he's doing this. There's been a few off-field things that have happened recently,
20:04and a few off-field reports as well of things behind the scenes that I think have wound the
20:09fans up a little bit. Obviously, we had the Carol Bates saga, which you can read all about on
20:13Sussex World. Well-loved Crawley Town supporter and volunteer for eight years.
20:18They terminated her services after a tweet she sent out following this brand identity survey.
20:23I'm sure that will come up with some of the questions that came up in that survey, like
20:28if Crawley Town was an animal, what would the animal be? I mean, it's fun, it's lighthearted,
20:34but if your team's in a relegation battle, do you need to do that kind of stuff? But yes,
20:40and then there was the report on the Ugly Game website, which talked about the Kalili brothers
20:44and the connection with Crawley Town, some unsavoury tweets that appeared to come from
20:49an official account of theirs, etc. And then you've got the outgoings much-loved players like
20:55Jay Williams, Ronan Darcy leaving, and that. So I'm expecting all those subjects to come up, but
21:01depends who turns up from the Crawley Town. Sometimes you get the same people asking the
21:06same questions. Hopefully there'll be some different people there and you just hope it
21:11doesn't turn into a big argument and accusations flying around. You just want it to be,
21:15we've seen this, what can you clarify this situation, why did this happen, etc. And you
21:21hope it's a productive conversation. But the timing-wise of it, I think he just wants to
21:28get out there and just sort of try and maybe defend their position, or maybe he wants to come
21:33out and clarify some points to the Crawley fans. But it's interesting, Crawley have only made
21:40announcements of signing so far, and there are a few people being a bit cynical and speculating that
21:47he's holding it now and then tomorrow all the players that are leaving will be announced,
21:51kind of thing. So nobody can quiz him on those. But I mean, we've seen what's going on. Ronan
21:56Darcy looks like he's going to wig an athletic PO Rawks tweet about that this morning to replace
22:01Theo Asgard, who's left them. And yeah, Jojo Wollekot, there's speculation about him.
22:09Quaterna, obviously well-publicised interest from an Argentinian side. So lots of subjects to cover.
22:15Like I say, I just hope it's a very productive conversation and he can clarify a lot of points,
22:20because when they don't communicate, I've asked the questions about the Kalili brothers, I've
22:25asked questions like more detail on Carol Bates. I've asked what they wanted to do during the
22:34transfer window. I never got any replies. Well, I got one. I want to comment on Carol Bates.
22:40But apart from that, yeah, you don't get you haven't got anything back from him. So I'm happy
22:45that if he's going to give all that information to the fans, that's great. Great if he doesn't
22:49screw me, but if not, do it directly with the fans. And that's all I want. I want clear
22:53communication and clarifying of all these situations going on that does make the club
22:58look a little bit bad at times. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we will wait and see, won't we? But
23:03moving back to matters on the pitch, this Saturday sees the circus come to town as the Reds host
23:07Wrexham in League One. The Welsh outfit sits third in League One, six points behind second
23:13place Wycombe Wanderers. But Wrexham did suffer a surprise home defeat to Stevenage in midweek.
23:19How do you see this one going, Sam? And what is the latest injury news from the
23:23Crawley camp going into this one? Yeah, it's a tough one to call, actually, because on paper,
23:27Wrexham third in the league, Crawley fighting for survival. You think it'd be a simple win
23:32for Wrexham. But their form actually hasn't been too great. They're without a win in three league
23:36games now. As you mentioned last time out, they lost against Stevenage. Before that,
23:40they got a draw against Birmingham. And before that, they lost to Bottom of the Table Shrewsbury.
23:45So they've had a bit of a rocky run of form. They actually only had one win in January so far,
23:52scoring late to edge past Peterborough on the fourth of the month. And they lost at Barnsley
23:58on New Year's Day. So they really have had a poor month, which will be disappointing for them,
24:01because they had a really impressive December as they went unbeaten in all seven games in December.
24:07So yeah, you'd imagine they'll be looking to put things right on Saturday at Crawley. And it's a
24:13big game for them. Absolutely, obviously still have those two games in hand to get themselves
24:17out of trouble. So there's some room to be hopeful after that performance at Mansfield,
24:22and they'll be looking to follow that up with a good performance against Wrexham.
24:26But in terms of team news, as we've mentioned, Rory Feeley could be available for his debut
24:31after missing Mansfield with a slight hamstring injury. Jeremy Kelly has an ankle problem.
24:36Kamari Doyle could be in line for a start after his brief appearance at Mansfield.
24:40And Mark has mentioned the situation with Darcey, Wollacott and Katerna, who are obviously all
24:45rooming to be leaving. So probably be unlikely for those to be in the team.
24:51Malarkey has a back injury and McKenna and Flynn, we all know, are out with long-term
24:57injuries. So that's the state of play. But I think Crawley should be looking at home,
25:02obviously, to follow up that good performance at Mansfield with another good win, or a draw
25:07would be a good result as well.
25:09Absolutely. Well, speaking of which, score predictions, and we will start with Brighton's
25:14trip to Nottingham Forest. Darren, how do you see that one going?
25:18Yeah, I'm quite positive for this one for Brighton. I think Nott first looked a bit
25:23shell-shocked last week, and I think Brighton may be able to capitalise on that. So I'm going
25:26to go for an optimistic 3-1 for Brighton.
25:29An optimistic 3-1. How do you see this one going then, Sam?
25:32I'm not as optimistic. I think Forest have been really good this season,
25:36obviously a bad day against Bournemouth, where I think all of their key players were
25:40all off it. And when that all happens, then obviously it spells for disaster. But I think
25:44they'll get back to what they were doing. I think Chris Wood has been in brilliant form.
25:48So I think it's one that Brighton should be looking to get at least a draw from,
25:51and I think it will be one-all.
25:55What about yourself, Mark? How do you see this one going at the City ground?
25:58I don't think there'll be goals in this, but I'm going to go for a draw as well,
26:01like Sam. I'm going to go 2-2.
26:03Yeah, I think it'll be a very, very hard-fought game, that one. And finally, Crawley at home to
26:07Wrexham. Again, another one I think that might be quite difficult to call. Mark,
26:11how do you see this one going?
26:13Not difficult to call at all. Crawley are going to win. I was chatting to Martin Wright,
26:17who's one of our works in the national world with us. He's a Wrexham fan, and he was saying
26:22it's a good time for Crawley to play them, because they are looking a bit poor. I mean,
26:27Stevenage never score away from home, and they scored 2-3 on the other night. So,
26:32I'm going to go for a Crawley 2-1 win. 2-1 win for Crawley.
26:37Sam, do you share in Mark's optimism?
26:39Yeah, yeah. I'm going to go with a 3-1 win. I'll go 1-0.
26:44Oh, I love it.
26:46Blimey. 3-1. Deren, top that.
26:49I'm going to go for a clean sweep. I think it's going to be a hard-fought 1-0 win for Crawley.
26:55I'll take that.
26:56Yeah, bite their hand off for that, I think. Well, best of luck to Brighton and Crawley Town
