00:00The DAWN celebrated their 40th anniversary through a concert.
00:08Leading up to their 40th anniversary in 2026,
00:12a special concert was set up by the iconic Filipino rock band,
00:17The DAWN, for their fans.
00:19This concert was called Almost 40,
00:23and it will be held this coming February 22,
00:268 p.m. at the Music Museum,
00:28at a media con held at a restaurant in Timog, Quezon City,
00:32where the members of the band,
00:36J.B. Enor, Francis Reyes, Vim Yance, and Romel Sanchez,
00:40were present.
00:41Here, they were asked how they feel
00:43that they have been in the music industry for 40 years.
00:46They answered,
00:50To be blessed with a concert,
00:52still after almost 40 years,
00:54each day is a blessing for me.
00:57And I think I can speak for the rest of the guys.
01:00That's how we feel.
01:02So, in a nutshell, we're very, very thankful.
01:05It's a big surprise and a big reward that we lasted this long.
01:10The guests of the so-called concert of the Filipino rock band were also special.
01:14Among them, the singer-songwriter, Ebe Denzel,
01:18Ebe Denzel, the singer-rapper, Quez,
01:21the actor-dancer, Waver Cruz,
01:24and the singer, Ayla Santos.
01:26The song, The Dawn, is one of their hit songs,
01:29which is,
01:34Remember, last November,
01:35The Dawn released their first ever Christmas song,
01:40Makipasko.
