00:00All around the NBA on this Friday night, we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 games in the
00:09association on this Friday evening. And Joe, let's start with the seventh and
00:14final out in San Francisco in Northern California. Basically a pick-em between
00:20the Suns and the Warriors. Phoenix, a slight point and a half favorite on the
00:25road. That spread adding on the hook. The money line adding on four cents. In a
00:30total of $2.29 and a half, slightly on the rise. Joe, this is Phoenix's third
00:36game this week. Their prior two at home against the Clippers and the Timberwolves.
00:42And basically, at some point of the day, Phoenix was playing in a pick-em game
00:47against both LA and Minnesota. Phoenix won the game against the Clippers, lost
00:53the game against the Timberwolves. Basically a pick-em in Northern
00:56California tonight against the Dubs. What do you make of it?
01:01I think you can label this, Ben, the game for Jimmy Butler. Huh? What do you
01:08think of that? Which one of these teams wins and then wins the bidding war for
01:13Jimmy Butler? Although I would not want him on either of these teams here. But
01:19these are the two teams that have been linked the most to Jimmy Butler and a
01:26possible change here. But listen, Phoenix has been pretty decent outside of that
01:32the way they threw up all over themselves late against Minnesota a
01:36couple of nights ago. Prior to that, Ben, they had been ripping off and rattling
01:40off quietly a bunch of wins. They had moved three games over 500. That was for
01:46the first time since mid-December. The 121-113 lost to Minnesota Wednesday
01:52night. Durant still dropped 33. Booker had 28. They don't have any bench, and
01:58that's the problem. You got Bradley Beal coming off the bench. That's nice, but
02:03you're paying him $15 million. I think Phoenix has the opportunity to make a
02:08little bit of a run here, but you got to be able to beat a struggling Golden
02:12State Warriors team, and I think they can here tonight. And the Doves are
02:16struggling. They started 12-3. They did get a victory at home outright as a
02:21nine-and-a-half point underdog against OKC just a few nights ago. Huge victory
02:27for the Doves in doing so, despite 52 points scored by Shea Gilgis Alexander.
02:33They still are 12-20 since that 12-3 start. Yes, Phoenix did stumble.
02:41Not a great second half against Minnesota earlier this week either, but
02:45they had won nine of their last 12, that being the Suns in the lead-up to that.
02:50They're above 500. The Warriors a game above 500. Both teams kind of battling
02:55for play-in positions right now in the Western Conference. Not exactly where we
03:00expected these two teams to be entering, but where they are right now. Past the
03:05midway point of this NBA season, six days away from next Thursday's NBA trade
03:11deadline in the Jimmy Butler Bowl, perhaps. Tonight, Victor Wiminyama in the
03:17San Antonio Spurs hosts the Milwaukee Bucs. Two-and-a-half points spread in
03:22favor of Milwaukee on the road. Total stands at 234. Wimby an all-star for the
03:28first time in his NBA career. The Bucs playing much better basketball since a
03:322-8 disasterous start to their season. But Joe, as a favorite, in Dame's second
03:37return to the Rose City earlier this week against the Trailblazers, Milwaukee
03:41got beat bad by double digits outright in Portland. How do they respond, if at
03:47all, in San Antonio? Yeah, that was a actual awful second half in Portland by
03:54Milwaukee, but they have an opportunity to right that ship here. And the Spurs,
03:59listen, they're going through some growing pains. Obviously, much better team
04:03than we had a year ago, but I don't think that trip to Paris has done
04:08them any favors either, Ben. They are at home, and it feels like outside of that,
04:14you know, outside of that little blip on the radar in the second
04:19half against Portland, I think Milwaukee, if we can make the argument, has been
04:24over the last month, shall we say, one of the best teams in the NBA. They seem to
04:30have finally figured it out here, and I like them to go in there and be able to
04:36handle business. I do not see them losing back-to-back games against
04:40Portland and then San Antonio on the road. I think Milwaukee wins this game
04:44easily. Yeah, I would agree, Joe. The spread right now only being two and a
04:49half, a little bit susceptible at this moment. Denver on the road in
04:55Philadelphia against the 76ers. The Nuggets, nine and a half point favorites,
04:59total 234. Denver did not have a great night as it continues its East Coast
05:04swing inside Madison Square Garden just a few nights ago. Nikola Jokic, one of
05:10his worst performances in the last month or so, 17.6 boards and six
05:15dimes. But keep an eye on the 76ers. Joe, this team still well below 500, 19
05:23and 27, but they have won four straight games, all four outright as an underdog.
05:29Can they play spoiler once again at home tonight inside the Wells Fargo
05:34Center against the Nugs? Three in a row, Denver has lost. I mean, when is the
05:39last time you think we would have been saying that? And you know why they have
05:43lost their band certainly against the Knicks. Their defense has gone M. I. A.
05:48What defense? The Knicks outshot them easily in that second half and pulled
05:55away from him. Listen, I think at this point, if you're looking at Denver,
05:59you're just looking at Joker going and getting his triple double. Look at his
06:05points, look at his rebounds, look at his assists. But I will say this. Give
06:09credit for straight wins for the Philadelphia 76ers. But the problem is
06:14their last lost them at Denver by 35 points. So they are gonna have to turn
06:21it around. I wouldn't be laying this number with dead. Don't catch a falling
06:24knife here. I would only take the points, but I like the props with the
06:28Joker more nuggets 28 and 19 this year. Still, the fourth best mark at the
06:34moment in the Western Conference. That's 47 total games for Denver
06:39tonight, about to be 48. The nugs have been booked as a favorite in a good
06:44majority of them. 34 to be exact 16 17 and one against the spread. Three teams
06:51in the NBA have played 30 games so far this year or more to the over Cleveland.
06:57The most 32 Memphis second most 31 Denver rounds out that trio with 30
07:03games of 47 to the over. Could Tyrese maxi be a little bit smirn tonight by
07:09not being named at All Star Reserve in the Eastern Conference? 30 and a half.
07:14His prop did drop a 43 point game or so earlier this week.
