00:00It was even easier for the workers of Oriental Mindoro to find a job through the new Philippines Job Fair.

00:12More than 2,000 job vacancies were opened by the Department of Labor and Employment, Mimaropa
00:17with the help of 4 local employers and 1 overseas employer
00:21that was found in Divine Word College in Lungsud, Calapan.
00:24According to Lori Katapang, DOLE, Mimaropa Technical Support and Services Division Chief,
00:29DOLE wants to bring this service closer to Filipinos who are looking for a job inside and outside the country.
00:35The purpose of this job fair is to make it easier for our countrymen to find a job,
00:42especially here in Oriental Mindoro or in Mimaropa,
00:46that's why we invited local and overseas employers.
00:51Of the 146 registered job seekers, more than 60 were hired on the spot.
00:58Katapang added that DOLE will continue to increase the employment rate in the whole region.
01:04We will continue to implement our regular programs of the Department of Labor and Employment
