00:00The Senatorial Balls of the Alliance for a New Philippines were held in front of the public where they answered some of the current issues in the country.

00:15Yes Joshua, the Senatorial Balls of the Alliance for a New Philippines answered some of the current issues in our country.

00:24Before the campaign, Raleigh Joshua was in front of a press conference and answered some of the current issues.

00:34Just like Joshua, the issue in the West Philippine Sea and the impeachment.

00:40Some of the candidates expressed their opposition to the negative campaigning.

00:45Some of the Senatorial Balls wanted to know how to help our country.

00:52And our people are tired of those.

00:57Many are hungry, many have no job, many have no livelihood and have not been able to send their children to school.

01:04That's what we have inside us. We are not hiding anything.

01:07Whatever we have inside us, we are letting you know that we want and aspire that the Philippines will rise.

01:17The Filipino people are tired. They are tired of this and that.

01:24It's still November, it's still last year.

01:27The mission of the candidates of the Alliance is to present ourselves so that people can see the performance of each one of us.

01:41While Joshua was in the West Philippine Sea, some of the candidates expressed their opposition to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s views.

01:56One of the reasons why I joined this Alliance is that we share the views of President and Vice President BBM.

02:07That the approach to this problem is multilateral, not just the Philippines-China.

02:14So what we are doing is right, the exercise of the week, the United States, Japan, Australia, the Philippines together.

02:21We won the Tribunal and that victory is ours.

02:26We cannot give it to others, it's ours.

02:30And from there, there is the multilateral approach that our government should do.

02:38Even though the Senators did not comment on the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte,

02:46they expressed their views on some of the rules of impeachment.

02:50Something that is being discussed right now.

02:55One hundred percent, somebody will take this to court.

02:58Because this is a justiciable issue.

03:02Being a justiciable issue, the Supreme Court can take it up.

03:07Whether they may continue or not.

03:10So the problem is, if the court decides that it cannot continue.

03:17So it is very, very premature and unfair to give a position on the impeachment this early.

03:26Candidates were also asked what are the first things they will do in order to win the Hotel of the City in 2025.

03:39The industries that provide a lot of jobs, such as construction or infrastructure,

03:46and also the tourism industry.

03:49Whatever sector or industry provides a lot of jobs, that is what we will support.

03:57Waiver of rights in the Bank Secrecy Act of all government officials,

04:02from the lowest clerk or janitor all the way up to the President.

04:10Even though Senator Bong Revilla did not attend the press conference,

04:15but he was thankful for the warm welcome of the people of Ilocos Norte.

04:19The Senator is thankful to President Marcos for his strong leadership in the alliance.

04:24Even though he did not attend the press conference,

04:26he was present at the campaign rally of Senator Pia Cayetano, Senator Lito Lapid,

04:32and Senator Aimee Marcos, where the people of Ilocos Norte welcomed them warmly.
