00:06The Philippine Egg Board Association is asking if there is really a shortage of egg in the supply of Von Aquino's eggs.

00:18Last week, it was reported that the supply of eggs by this egg dealer in the Blue Man Treats Market in Manila decreased.

00:24Their supplier increased the price of eggs by Php 100 per case, so they also increased the price.

00:30One case has 12 trays. Each tray has 30 eggs.

00:35There is a shortage of supply. We will know that this February if it doesn't change.

00:45If we compute the price of eggs based on their retail price, each tray will be Php 6 less.

02:13Our projection in the industry is that we will have a higher production of eggs this year compared to last year.
