00:00Some high-caliber guns were found in an apartment in Manila.

00:05The tenant was looking for something that might be related to illegal activities.

00:09Jomer Apresco was able to find it.

00:15The police entered this apartment in Santa Ana, Manila with a search warrant

00:20along with the barangay owners and the owner of the house.

00:23This was followed by a riot on January 14,

00:26where a man was fighting in the apartment.

00:30According to witnesses, a gun was fired from a faraway place

00:34and the suspect entered and made a ruckus before fleeing.

00:38The man who was fleeing also fled.

00:45When the authorities entered, they saw an M16 rifle in the laundry basket.

00:53So we filed a search warrant in court

00:59to get the M16 rifle legally.

01:04We were able to recover an M16 rifle,

01:08a .40 caliber pistol,

01:11and two .45 caliber pistols.

01:13The magazines were full of bullets.

01:17One of the bullets was found in a ballistic examination.

01:20We wanted to know if those bullets were used for shooting

01:26and we will include it in the filing of the case.

01:31The authorities believe that the man who was fleeing

01:35may also be involved in gun running activities and illegal drugs.

01:39The police said that when the warrant was returned to the court,

01:43the case will be closed and the man who was fleeing may face various complaints in the apartment.

01:48They also want to know where his family is,

01:50whether they were last seen by the owner in December 2024.

01:54There is also a follow-up investigation on the background of the suspect who made a ruckus in the unit.
