राजस्थान पत्रिका चेन्नई संस्करण के 22वें स्थापना दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में साहुकारपेट के चिन्न नायकन स्ट्रीट के कन्हैयालाल अग्रवाल बाल निकेतन प्रांगण में शनिवार को सोसायटी फॉर प्रोटेक्शन ऑफ अनबॉर्न चिल्ड्रेन (एसपीयूसी) के सौजन्य से अंतरविद्यालयीन भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन हुआ। प्रतियोगिता का विषय ‘देश की तरक्की और बेहतरी के लिए शिक्षा के माध्यम से बालिकाओं का सशक्तीकरण’ था। दो वर्ग में आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में साहुकारपेट की विभिन्न स्कूलों के पैंतीस प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया।
प्रतियोगिता की शुरुआत प्रार्थना और एसपीयूसी के संगठन सचिव आर. मुरली के स्वागत भाषण से हुई। फिर वर्ग वार और भाषा वार प्रतियोगियों को अपनी बात रखने के लिए बुलाया गया। प्रतिभागियों ने अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी और तमिल में अपने विचार रखे। तीनों ही भाषाओं के प्रतियोगियों के भाषण कौशल की निर्णायकों मालती, चित्रा, चेतना, अरुणा और आर. तिरुमल ने बारीकी से परख की।
विचारों की विविधता और हावभाव
9 से 16 उम्र तक के छात्र-छात्राओं ने विषयानुरूप अपनी बात कही और बालिका शिक्षा की महत्ता का प्रतिपादन किया। हाव-भाव वाले उनके विचारों का सारांश यह था कि जब बेटी शिक्षित होगी तो आत्मनिर्भर बनेगी। एक शिक्षित नारी पूरे समाज और राष्ट्र के विकास की हेतु होती है। विद्यार्थियों की तीनों भाषाओं में निपुणता दिखाई दी, जिसकी निर्णायकों और सभासदों ने तालियां बजाकर प्रशंसा की।
