00:00Ruby Lin Amit, the Philippine billiards champion, has just arrived in the United States to compete in two competitions.

00:09Aside from that, there are a lot of events lined up for the Saguana Q Master.

00:14What are those events? Let's find out from my teammate Rafael Bandayreal.

00:21The schedule of the Philippine billiards champion Ruby Lin Amit will be busy this year, 2025.

00:27Aside from the World Games in Chengdu, China, the Philippine billiards champion will also compete this month in the United States

00:35where she will compete in two competitions.

00:38She will compete in the Las Vegas Women's Open and the Mixed Doubles Las Vegas Open

00:44where she will compete against Francisco Bustamante.

00:47But that's not all she has planned for her calendar this year.

00:52Right now, what I'm preparing for, which I'll be leaving next week, is the Las Vegas Redditor event.

00:59There's the Las Vegas Open Singles and then our Mixed Doubles with Francisco Bustamante, the coach.

01:07And then the last event is the Challenge of Champions wherein the world champion of 9-ball, that's us,

01:14and then the world champion of 10-ball, we'll play one-on-one.

01:18So in three different disciplines, three different events.

01:22So 9-ball, 10-ball, and then if we tie, we play 8-ball.

01:27Meanwhile, the three-time world champion is also promising to continue the Amit Cup this 2025.

01:34This is the biggest league in the country for the female Q-masters.

01:39To be honest, it's a challenge for us also because we have a lot of lady players.

01:46It's a very welcome challenge.

01:48We're hoping to grow it even more.

01:51And you're right, there are a lot of female players competing right now.

01:54And they're really good.

01:56I'm sure, no matter what I achieve, they'll be even better.

02:00More world championships for these lady players.

02:03This week, Amit is in Las Vegas with her coach and partner, Bustamante,

02:10to prepare for their first competition this year, 2025.
