00:33the annual Dagkot Festival, a feat of gratitude through music, dance and the traditional Dagkot
00:38or candle lighting. The Dagkot Festival, more than a religious celebration, is an expression
00:43of devotion and appreciation of the patron saint of the city, Our Lady of Candol or Nuestra Senora
00:48de Candelaria. Indeed, the culture is alive and the devotees strongly believe that the city of
00:53Kapadbaran will have a bright future ahead. The festival also brought good economy to the city
00:58as variety of goods and products were displayed on the streets and sold to the locals, tourists
01:03and travelers. The Dagkot Festival is said to be the largest and most intense candle lighting
01:13celebration in the Carraga region. Each candle light symbolizes a success that comes from faith,
01:18unity and culture of the place, with Nora Lanuza Molde,
